  1. 2009 Nissan Skyline GT-R Spy Video (on the track and streets) http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Media...ideoId=20112945 Blurb http://www.edmunds.com/il/nissan/skyline/index.html
  2. slooooooooooooow (as opposed to "this won't take long did it?")
  3. To say I'm "happy" with the tyres would be an understatement. When I thought it was about to lose traction in the tail end (as it normally would) I noticed they gripped in again, so I didn't need to back off. I cut around 2 seconds off my PB for the first split time (which is same as the normal single lap event) and I'm certain I will improve on my PB in July once I get used to my new limitations. If you only knew how many times I blessed those tyres as I was going around yesterday hehe. Thank you Michele
  4. Its at Fairbairn on Sutton Road, first driveway on left (before the Sutton Driving School) Website: http://www.sdmahillclimb.com/
  5. I should add that the Volvo (Volden as we call it) runs a 308, slicks etc and therefore I should have been able to beat my Skyline time but I'm far more comfortable in my little girl.
  6. Please put me down x 2, I could do with some practice
  7. Great news all. Thanks to my new Federal tyres (under the advice of Bullet32) and hopefully a little skill improvement... I won fastest lady of the day Todays event was a two-lapper (which doesn't happen often) and instead of losing by 700th of a second, my closest competitor was myself in another car (4.13 seconds behind) then an RX7 (6.25 seconds behind) YES... the very same RX7 that got me last time. Ladies results being: 90.31 - Me in my little GTST 94.44 - Me in hubbys Volvo (T4 category) 96.56 - RX7 (T4 category) 97.38 - RX7 99.46 - Nissan EXA 105.83 - Subaru Impreza Then what surprised me most from the day was also coming second in the category (Type 1/2 over 3001cc) which was bittersweet considering I was beaten by my own car (by a further 2 seconds) so I don't think I will be willing to share my Skyline with hubby next time, he can stick to his Volvo LOL although I must say, it was fun co-driving two cars and having twice the runs. The new Federal tyres were a dream and I believe I can better my time yet again once I get used to their extra grip. Each run I made an effort to brake later and increase the speed on the cornering and they just STUCK. Thanks again to all who helped. Cheers Michele PS: Can anyone tell me what I have to do to register/enter for the SAU track day at Wakefield on Sun 8th July? Just for practice of course, my little gtst is pretty standard and couldn't compete with the kW's you guys are talking.
  8. Hey all - Thanks to all who helped me out on this. I managed to find some wheels in Sydney which I hope will arrive by tomorrow morning. I'm amazed at the genuine responses I received, what a great bunch you all are here Now its up to me to learn how to drive the car cheers Michele
  9. I can't seem to find wheels in time for Sunday, does anyone have some I can hire/borrow to suit R32 GTS-T as I don't want the expense of rushing into something I'll regret out of desperation. I will use my own rubber and put yours back on (Sat morning, back to you on Monday) I have a set of Sparco 17x9's to fit GTR or my standards (GTS-T) which I can offer back to help out if needed. A huge THANK YOU to those who have been helping me on this. Cheers Michele
  10. Are you able to PM me with a contact number? Thanks again Michele
  11. Will they fit the R32 gts-t okay? What did they come off? Do you have any photos? Thanks Michele
  12. PM's sent I've been working long hours and going through the posts now, thanks to all who have responded, your help is appreciated. Sticky - I have a set of 17x9's and they're too big for the back because of the offset, I'm looking for 8's if I can. Nisswreck - I'll give you a call, I hope you work Saturdays Cheers Michele
  13. I'm new to this, so please excuse my ignorance... what are Buddy Club P1's?
  14. PM sent to Bullet32 I've been working long hours and going through the posts now, thanks to all who have responded, your help is appreciated.
  15. Wheels 16 or 17 x 8's to suit R32 GTS-T (4dr) Okay its time - I was pipped by 700th of a second in the hillclimb and my opponent had R tyres. My standard tyres have to go (is my competitive streak showing?? Maybe I should push those horns back in, they're starting to show). I'm currently running stock standard 16x6.5's. I've heard that pre 94 GTR wheels will fit (thanks Jayce). Does anyone have anything that will do the job for me? I also have for sale 17x9 Sparko wheels and Falken tyres to suit GTR (they fitted the front but were too big for the rear, wrong offset ) I'll be putting more about these in the For Sale section with photos soon. If there are any enthusiasts out there that are interested in helping me get this car set up right (that won't charge me an arm and a leg... although, I am prepared to give up toes and fingers) I'd really appreciate the help. Please PM me with any thoughts, ideas and hopefully faster wheels Thanks Michele ACT
