coming to think of it, this grille, looks exactly the same as mine but no mesh behind it and painted? is this the case?? or does this grille have meshing behind it as well??? It looks heaps better than mine.

I want to purchase a new front grille and S badge on bonnet. what i have currently is a white series II gtst r33 grille that is black with black meshing and the red "S" symbol on the grille (standard one???) what im after is the one depicted in the picture attachment. i want that grille and that badge to go on the bonnet. Does anyone know where I can get em from in melb??? how much??? What type of grille it is and named??? Any other good front grille's i can look at->GTR or Nismo will they fit?? Cheers

yeah but the brake pads come in pairs. So is it really worthwhile paying $72 for two front brake pads, then paying someone to machine em and put em on??? btw: are the GTR brake pads the same as gtst for r33 sII?

i dont think you can get a fine for the drag on calder man. im pretty sure if u do u can contest it, cause she has no proof. unless u told her how fast u were goin. then its ur word against hers. u should of said u were doin about 110, and u werent too sure cause u were too busy looking at the guy who was "stalking you", you were afraid, life in danger etc... etc... bullshit. just hope u dont get it.

my squeaky front brake saga continues... i took my wheel off, i cleaned it with a compressor (air brush), and it still makes a screeching sound, not when i brake suddenly or at at sudden stops, but only when i am 30kms or less braking, and it doesnt happen all the time. i still have over half brake padding left, and the disks look clean and not warped? suggestions once again? should i just machine the one disc? or get some sort of lubricant or spray?

well ppl my car has finally been tested for suspension, and it seems to be no problem in the bouncing area, in particular the back right section where most of my in-house testing was conducted. There is enough space in the back seat to conduct such tests which counter-parts what one of my fellow collegues argued .."you wont be able to do it in the back seat". Well once again I have proven my collegues wrong and will release a doctrine/binding precedent to use in future cases at hand. In conclusion the 97 skyline s2 is capable of max suspension at tough times. ta ta

I know i will probably get mixed emotions on this topic, however i cease to care of the negative comments as I have just purchased a turbo performance and vehicle and it needed a good run. sII gtst 97. And with what i say for the next couple of paragraphs, i assure you i did not do this dangerously in anyway as i work for a motor company and have been on an advanced driving course. without further adure here is my 1st encounter. Pulled up next to an new Audi A4 (i think) a new one, looked MAD!!! Two lane straight street->I was in left lane he was in the right. So the nice person that i am i pulled down my window and started talking to him briefly (before the lights would turn green) starting saying how nice his car was, how mad the front LED lights work etc... etc... then i proceeded to say that if his car went alright. He said its not too bad. meanwhile whilst i was talking to him, behind me was a muzza in this CRX (nice white one->fully done up-not that i know much about em). Either way once the lights turned green the audi floored it, i just cruised legally didnt even punch it. I think the audi thought i wanted to drag as my last words were "does the car go alright". once the audi floored it the crx thought we were dragging so he was right up my ass trying to get me to move. dickhead. anyways the next set of traffic lights we all stopped again. me in the left, audi in the right, crx behind me, and all of a sudden (no bullshit) a type r integra was behind the audi. i couldnt handle it, there was a dickhead up my ass behind me, a the type r behind the audi who was revin his engine like a dickhead. so i had to take em on. Lights turned green and floored it, blew the audi away and the type r, but the crx (suprisingly was catchin up) after a small roundabout which everyone seem to slow down, i punched it back into 2nd and blew em all away. about 2kms down i had to slow down to head off to my hood. Very scary at 1st but mega fun. all safe and legit, except the high speeds we were doing. lol and b4 u reply back sending me hate mail and shit i remind u i have an valid excuse......i am from the west. lol. p.s: ohh another thing after the roundabout i proceeded in the right lane (audi was far behind) cause i was approaching a truck. so the crx was behind and in the left lane. so instead of being sensible and merging to the right, he went in the emergency lane (left of the truck). VERY VERY dangerous, dont ever do that!!! idiot. i still blew him away so in the end i had the last word. also his exhaust was ridiciliously loud. i had the window down at the 1st set of lights, and had to put my window up cause it was hurting my ears. DAMn i dont think he had a cat. ta ta

BINGO..should of brought it him down to the west side of melb and we could of taken care of him. but then again the guy who made the threat would of probably been from the west side. lol. but then again...swoop u have to remind urself u do have access to a 34 gtr vspec. u know that is a ok car. yeah i thought so, but still i spend about min $60 dollars a week on petrol (a full tank). so it aint all that good. Its cause i drive to work mon-fri, then go out weekends and sometimes on weekdays after work. cheers

just wondering how many kms u guys get from a full tank??? for a r33 (if can s2 gtst), best case(driving normally half freeway and half street) and worst case (thrashing the crap out of it) i get about 400 (worst) to about 500 (best) sound right?

do u think that it could be the discs??? do they get worn out quickly. i didnt think they would cause its only a 97 model. i hate the squeak. my car is mad i cruise but it sqaeks when i brake!!! ill try some spray shit.

where is the ecu? wat does it look like?

i still have issues with my brakes, apparently our mechanic says we dont need new brake pads cause there is heaps left, and u dont need to machine the disc brakes unless ur goin to put on new brake pads. so i guess i have to wait until my pads wear out. The issue is that there is only one sqeak coming from one wheel not all. Front right. how can i get rid of this squeak without replacing brake pads or machining em (according to my mechanic dont need to do it now, its a waste of money). The squeak doesnt happen all the time only sometimes. Not hard or soft brekaing it seems to do it at a specific point. do i buy a spray or something? HElp please? Champinco

Can i do it? if so does anyone have step by step procedures for it??? it wont stuff up anything?->intercooler/alarm etc..
