Crash.

hey guys, im having the same issue atm with this. I put some no slip spray on it and this stopped the noise from happening as much, but it only lasted about a week or 2... can anyone point me in the right direction of what screw i need to tighten, with maybe an image or something? Or where to locate it, any help would be awesome

Did this one yesterday, there was alot of build up in the idle screw. Clean the lot with coton wool, then used the air gun to dry it all off... Only problem i had was the hose at the bottom, what a pain that was to get off. Other then that it was all good Nice write up

When accelerating past about 1500RPM till about 4500RPM the car would missfire all the way inbetween, it was just a constant stutter, like the car was struggling.... When getting to high rev's it would just dissapear, the missfire was very noticable in 1st and 2nd gear....

Just to let you guys know about my issue, I was having a missfire on my R33, i went out and bought spitfire coil's and put them in, there was a little bit of a change but the miss fire was still there. Got new spark plugs, that didnt make any difference.... i took apart my AFM and cleaned that out, still nothing.... After talking to some people, the only last thing they suggested it could be was the Crank Angle Sensor, so found another skyline and removed it from that and put it on mine....It worked like a dream, went out and bought a 2nd hand one for $150 and fitted it on. Now i dont have any problems.... Hope this helps some people that can't figure out what is causing their missfire.

Oh, sorry i did search but i couldnt find anything specific to any places out west. I wrote in my original post "good workshops in the Syndey area?" I ment to write the penrith area, was a bit distracted by work. I've got some PM's from some people recommending some places, big thanks to those guys.

Anyone recommend some good workshops in the Syndey area? I live out west, penrith area, and im looking at taking the car in to get a service and also to look at an issue im having with the car. I'm kinda looking for a place that knows what they are doing with skylines.... Anyone have any ideas?

Saw a Black GTR in penrith wesfields carpark, JPR-034 i think was the plate. And got a wave off an orange R33 that was heading towards penrith on the Great western HWY.

Spotted a red R34 GT in Mt Druitt on Woodstock Ave today. Pulled up next to him and said a quick hi at the lights. Very nice looking car

Saw 2 skylines last night at bloc carpark in penrith Mrb25t i think was the plate, it was a blue, i think gts.... Also a black r33 gts, number plate was AE*****, was behind him on the great western hwy going towards penrith, saw the car again when i was also leaving bloc, it was in the carpark.

Saw about 4 Skylines tonight in penrith. 1 Black R32 in the plaza parked up near the movies. 1 White R33 at Krispy Kreme carpark. 1 White R33 GTR at Krispy Kreme carpark. 1 White R33 turning onto high st. I had number plates but after seenin all 4 i forgot them!

Im more looking forward to the Nintendo Wii. Just seems like they have put alot more thought into the games with the new motion control. Its also going to be fairly cheap. I wouldnt mind a ps3 but its going to cost way too much, $1000 for the system, and the games are going to be priced above $100.

I had my sound system hooked up, it started a while after that.... 2 x 12' subs which also has 2 amps running the sound system, that is connected to the battery. So could actually be a battery problem, maybe i should grab a new battery and try that....

OK so im having this problem with my R33 GTS-M atm. When i start up the engine the car doesnt start straight away, it will struggle to start then the engine will cut out straight away....To get it going, ive basically goto rev the engine while im starting it to get it going, ive actually got do it for a few seconds otherwise it just drops out again. While im doing this the car is "Stuttering"..... I only need to do it if i havent driven the car for a while, like when i get home from work at night and have to start it up in the morning. If i go down to the shops and start it up 2 hours later its fine. Im not really sure whats causing this. The cars only done 70,000km's, doesnt have any mods on it.... Anyone have any general ideas what could be causing this? Im taking it down to get serviced soon but i dont wanna get screwed over with all this crap that i dont need to pay for.
