  4. Hi everyone I am selling as a pack 2 Z32 Airflow meters, a R32/R33 RB26 PowerFC and a Blitz ID3 dual solenoid boost controller. All parts are used but are in good condition and currently all work without problems. Parts are currently installed however pics can be provided on request. I am not at this point interested in breaking the package up. I am chasing $1600 firm the lot. I also have a FC DataLogit (+ Serial -> USB converter + software) which i will throw in for $300. I will sell this separately but only once the powerFC has sold. This package should be all you need electronics wise to see 500+ hp @ the wheels. Kind Regards, Ian
  5. Sorry Noel, I missed your post. I'm not terribly concerned with what happened in the past, I am concerned with now. As we go to different track days, I don't think its likely that we shall ever have to worry about driver training. All I want to do is go out to the track and have a good time, and I don't want to feel like I have anything to prove to anyone - I would welcome your input on my driving, as I do anyone else's, particularity those with direct experience, but only if you can keep it objective, polite and constructive. Your persistent petty attacks and attempts to goad me are not welcome, so please, leave them at the door next time. I would honestly like to put the differences between us behind us, times change and I don't want to have to deal with the animosity from years ago, however, if this doesn't suit you, then at least keep it civil. I have always respected you as a solid driver with a depth of experience who has also had some poor luck - but I don't need the constant snipes, so please refrain in the future from such things.
  6. Thanks guys. From what I remember (i'd have to watch the vids, im at work at the moment) most of the one handed stuff I did was during the warmup lap, but its certainly something I will keep in mind next time. QR is bumpy enough without added complications... Handbrake: Your not the first one to suggest that book to me, I will certainly be hunting for a copy of it this weekend. Am I likely to find it in bookshops or shall I have to order online? I will find it difficult to make it to Pauls track days - his days are well run, and you probably wind up with more track time for your dollar there, but weekdays are not an option to me, I value my leave too much to use it doing that when there is a weekend option available - If I find that once a month with track attack is not for me, I will consider doing both, but for now, SAS is all my budget allows for anyway.
  7. Go away Noel.
  8. Seriously mate, to be frankly fair, I think I did alright. It wasn't so long ago you were only running 59's you know, 0:59.80 in 2009 if Pauls website is to be believed, and you had done a hell of a lot more work to your car, and a hell of alot more time on the track at that point, then then I had of either on Saturday. So perhaps my lines weren't perfect, I know that, and I expected them not to be. I was there to learn, and I honestly expected to run no faster then a 1:02 sprint with the limited track side experience I had, particularly with a split day where I couldn't focus entirely on sprint. I gathered valuable knowledge for next time, and ran what I think is a respectable time, so I'm happy with the outcome, and to be frankly honest, with an attitude like yours, I couldn't care less what you thought. Now I don't want this descending into a bitch fight like so many others on this forum have in the past, so please, if you don't have anything constructive to say, then just hold it to yourself.
  9. For you Dan, I do special price
  10. Howdy everyone I went out to the track for the first time in a new car on saturday, and got a number of images and videos which I thought i would share with you all. I ran a 1.00.3 sprint and a 1.04.75 clubman as my best times of the day . Find the videos and images attached Highlights vid put together by Dale: Clubman (Incar): Sprint (Incar): I will re-edit these I think to cut out all the crap at the end of the laps, I hadn't used vegas before either and could of done a better job on the quality. I will upload improved versions later on. Regards, Ian
  11. On a side note, will a 265/35/18 fit under the front guards on a 32 GTR?
  12. Fitted a set of D2 coilovers to a R32 GTST once, even on their softest setting they were horribly hard. My tein coilovers have been nothing but solid for three + years, my car(s) handles like a dream and I even went to the trouble of taking them from one car to another when I bought another 32 GTR. I would recommend them for street and occasional track use. They have reasonable ride quality and good handling. Remember, harder suspension != better handling. I learnt that lesson by proxy when my mate with super hard coilovers went over the side as a result. Regards, Ian
  13. Hi All I had a quick search and I could not find any threads dedicated to this question. I am looking at tires for an aprox 400 awhp R32 GTR - I have used and were happy with KU36's in the past, but there is a two week wait on my supplier. I have available to me federal RSR's for aprox $50 a corner more. Basically my question is, are they worth the extra money? Car is used for both track and street duties. I am worried the RSR, being a proper semi, as opposed to the KU36's compromise, will go to waste on the street. If anyone has used both, please let me know. Regards, Ian
  14. GPS tends to be about 10 km/h out from the tacho on my car / gps
  15. Fixed it now, for anyone who might encounter this issue in the future the problem was bad earths. The engine bay had been recently painted and we had to run a tap through the thread to get rid of the paint in there. Intrestingly enough this was also causing the AWD not to work, which has also now been fixed.
  16. Hi all I have just noticed a problem with my 32 GTR's gauges - their readings seem incorrect when the headlights are turned on! This is mostly effecting oil temp and oil preassure but voltage also seems to be affected as well. What happens is when the lights are turned on, their readings go up. Oil preassure goes up by about 2 - 4 bar and hangs around the 8 bar mark and oil preassure goes up to around the half way mark. Turn the lights off again and they return to normal, believeable readings. I have no idea what is causing this. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Regards, Ian
