  1. Next one will finish up at a hoggs breath for diner. Will mean starting a bit earlier tho, but i think we can manage.
  2. Before my time, I think.
  3. Pish Posh. That supra was all over me on the mountains! But I have some new mods done now that have and will continue to drastically change the handling of the car... Cant wait till the next mountain cruise. Should also have the coilovers and new breaks on there too by then. So... noone wants to be my navigator to scout the next run?
  4. That 200 gave me a go on the way back... its not that quick!
  5. Had a ring around, Showdown Customs seems to be to go so far. A few of the other mobs didnt want to touch rust, showdown sounds like theve done this a few times, he said it was a common thing.
  6. in the R32 (dont know about stags) theres a ATTESSA fluid container in the boot.
  7. Thanks guys. Im going to spend one night this week scouting the route over the hinterlands for the next one... If anyone wants to come and be my navigator theyd be welcome, cruising/scouting alone is sooooo boring.
  8. Good man. Id have sunk the boot in myself. But thats because I consider car theifs to be worth less then grime deposits on the underbody of my car.
  9. My gf asked if she had a bra on, so up comes the top for everyone to see. Steph didnt like them very much... she was arcing it up at them. Shes so sweet
  10. How long have you been a member again? (kidding) I personally would drive the cars to the owners house, hand over the keys, give him my details and tell him he can pursue the matter as he will once i have returned everyone elses's cars... I really hate car theft.
  11. Hi Does anyone know of any good bodywork shops on the northside? I have some rust that needs to be taken out, pronto. But I dont want to drive in with a RB26DETT and drive our with a RB26DE if you know what I mean? I have heard of these places flogging stuff.
  12. Did fingerprinting turn up anything? Also, the XR6 they stole, what happened to that?
  13. Im bored. Nothing to do. Should really get round to installing the new guards that I have for the car. CBF.
  14. Used v power recently, noticed a loss of response and power. Went to caltex/woolworths, used vortex and the car drove well but maybe it was just my imagination but I could of sworn it sounded different at lights. I didnt like it. Went back to BP Ultimate. The only way to go.

shhhhh Its like, the sillyiest breakage in the world. They were allready broken when I got it I think, and taped up. The cars perfectly driveable but it can rub when I go full left lock. Off topic anyway. Is anyone going to this?
  16. pics. shots were taken at night. Will get better ones tomorrow.
  17. id hazzard a guess at it meaning you have slip on your wheels and its moving power to the fronts. Does your FW Tourque gauge go up at all?
  18. Been running around with it for a few hours, I love it. My initial report: Map 2 is best for spirited street driving - the lower the speed, the higher the sensitivity. At 70 sensitivity it will apply decent FW power at the 40 - 60 speed range if you give it quarter throttle round corners; this will improve the handling of the car quite well. As the speed goes up, I lower the sensitivity to go easier on the clutch packs - doing this also keeps most power on the rear wheels, with enough power on the front wheels to combat the overseer quite well - You can feel it pulling the car in the direction your pointing it in, while the rear wheels are doing most of the work moving it. With stock suspension, I have found that from the lights, downhill, I can turn a 90 degree turn with my foot flat to the firewall on map two @ 60 sensitivity and not loose traction. A bit unnerving, but I had plenty of room on either side should things had gone wrong. My setup is currently a switch between map 1, 30 sensitivity (I don’t know if sensitivity is the right word) for normal street driving and map 2, 45 sensitivity for when im coming up on a corner I want to take quicker. Works quite well. For backstreets and lower speed zones, I increase the sensitivity on map two and I can feel the difference it makes. Its also quite easy to quickly increase the sensitivity of the system on the fly as your coming up to a corner in a street situation (don’t know how this would go on the track) - The place where mine sits is very tidy, easy to access and easy to read. Kudos to Mike (Apologies if I got your name wrong ) for the install today, very professional - I do have one qualm - its rather funny actually, but its to do with the re-wiring of my boost gauge which he did on the side. It only lights up when the doors are open. I will post some pics of it in a tic. And maybe sort this rambling mess of a post out. Paul, if you have some time off soon, you should really come for a drive in my car and drive it on stock setting, then as I have described above. You will see what im talking about - its a whole different car to drive, feels more like a rex with grunt now.
  19. Has anyone noticed the increased rate of theft of high performance cars in Queensland lately? I have. When I first was driving I never used to hear about this anywhere near as much and I was just as active on car forums. It has gotten to I feel a critical stage now where we hear about this many times a week. The police have shown a complete disregard for the protection of our property - it would seem they would rather sit on the side of the road and rack up tickets and revenue rather then do real police work which they are paid to do. Or perhaps its more convenient for them to see these cars taken off the road for police, in spite of the letter, and spirit, of the law saying theft is wrong and illegal under all circumstances baring exceptional and bizarre events. I propose a partition to the Police Minister, done properly with examples, testimonies along with a list of names and signatures which show the police in QLD's lack of action on these matters. I for one had myself held up for my car once, and managed to escape the initial carjacking attempt, only to be chased through the city screaming over the phone for help and receiving none. Not so much as a follow-up call. I spoke with my state member last election, and he said to me that plenty of money is being given to the police, that they had increased their numbers, however they tended to be, what he put as, swelling in the middle, with large numbers of police doing bureaucratic work and less doing the stuff at the bottom and top - doing what’s actually required to prevent crime. I don’t know, it may seem a bit drastic, but the reality is with our cars now: Its not if someone tries to steal it, its when. I don’t feel like waiting around sitting on my hands for theft-o-clock to hit home. We need harsher penalties for auto-theft and more police on preventing and prosecuting the individuals who attempt it.
  20. Whoops, missed. I might come on the one tomorrow tho, if it looks like theres going to be enough people there.
  21. Gods damnit. These people are the very undoing of our society. They deserve no mercy or compassion, there can be no circumstances where this action can be seen in a good light, this is pre-meditated and shows a complete and utter disregard for their fellow human beings, or for the rules of our civilization. They could not possibly understand the reasons why these rules exist, and seek only to do what they wish to do with no foresight or compassion for others. I’m fully insured and would get the money back if my car was stolen, but its the damn principle of the matter. That car is my dream and passion; I love only two things more then it, my family and my girlfriend. The people who steal these things realize fully what they are to us and what they mean, that’s why they steal them, and they don’t care. They are selfish, deeply stupid, primitive beings that natural selection should have removed long, long, long ago. Reading about this makes me angry.

I may be up for this. Put me down as a maybe who will confirm at the last second! It depends if I can fix the car up... it had an unfortunate incident with the underbody guards snapping cause of wind preassure and must be driven carefully until I can patch it up
  23. I just got back - got pauls AWD controller installed - its the sex! heaps more responsive AWD now I will do a writeup for everyone else on sunday afternoon, however I dont know how many AWD users we have in QLD? Also GG police, dickhead in ute (I believe they were the ones screaming "do a burnout" at summerset?), 0, karma, 1 Karen will be pleased when she reads this.
