  1. Its got 92000 on the clock, but who knows with imports.
  2. Damn, that doesnt sound good at all . Looks like I'll have to put off the turbo and suspension upgrade and spend the dosh on a rebuild. I might aswell get some forged parts and go for a higher power figure later on. Its driven daily but I wanted to build it for track days and hillclimbs. Off to do some research, might have to PM SK and see what he thinks. Thanks guys.
  3. I thought I'd get an idea of the engines health before spending big on a turbo upgrade. It was done at Allstar tuning in Brisbane and they seemed pretty happy with the results. Compression 1-170 2-155 3-165 4-160 5-160 6-165 Leakdown 1-10% 2-20% 3-12% 4-16% 5-17% 6-10% After a turbo upgrade my target is 260rwkw. Will the engine be able to handle it and should I be worried about cylinder 2? Thanks in advance.
  4. V8Factor has finally been released for rFactor. Its been in development for around 6 months. They've also released a scratch built Bathurst with the mod. Its the best version to date and I cant stop playing it. Here's some links for you all.   21. Very tempted, I know there's a dyno day but as it stands it wont go ahead due to a lack of interest. I'm on the northside also, so it'd be easy to hook up for the cruise. Will let you know soon.

  24. Hi all, I took Wednesday off from work to take care of the other half.... my skyline. I took my car to an exhaust shop to fit my Batmbl split dump/front pipe and catco high flow cat at 8am. As my time with Matt started at 1pm and I live on the northside, I needed it back by 11am. No probs said the exhaust place, at 11:30 I finally get a call and pick her up. Guess what, they put one of their stickers on my back window!!! God I hate that. After a nice drive down the Pacific highway I get there slightly late. Matt has a small but very good shop, one of his mates was there helping him out with a monster 32 GTR. It had some problems and needed to be pulled apart and Matt doesn't do major mechanical work. Matt spent about 2 and 1/2 hours tuning and made some major gains over the previous tune at another shop, obviously it had a lot to do with the new exhaust parts. It missed once on the dyno and on the road test drive. So he pulled out the spark plugs and regapped them and it was all sweet. Matt only charged me for two hours on the dyno, he's a cool guy, easy to get along with but wont bullshit you. As you can see from the dyno chart the power flattens at 5000, thats because the AFM is maxing out. I have a FMIC, EBC, PowerFC, standard turbo at 13.5 psi with Apex power intake and the exhaust I mentioned before with a 3.5 inch catback. I'm pretty happy with the way its going, just need a new Z32 AFM. After I get one I'll try installing it myself or put out the call to northside SAU members to give me a hand if needed .170rwkw at 5000 isnt too bad and after a drive up Mt. Mee(unfortunate name) I'm very impressed with the midrange torque and power.
