I have heard from someone on here once before that the stock 34 gtt rear muffler is a variable type with a switch. Can any r34 gtt people confirm this?

I can agree on the tomei ones...No tomei stamp on mine either. They just look a bit chunkier than the stock ones.

I'd say the rb20det etc would be worth between $300-$1000 depending on whats included eg mods. rb30et (mx7) manual boxes go for around $400-$900 from what ive seen.

Lol that noise is fine with me! My noise is very similar with the screamer and i had no complaints. Might use my sidepipe this time round

I'd definately recommend going to this track. I had an awesome time there last weekend. Also the noise thing was ok. Just cant be crazy loud as the restriction is for the neighbours.

The black wire with broken connector on the end is meant to be earthed. Crimp a new connector on the end and earth it to the rocker cover with a coil pack cover screw. The loop in the harness is used for checking timing and is normal.

Is it light brown sludge accumulating on the radiator cap? If it is, i'd tend to agree with djr81 on it being buildup from lack of coolant usage in the past. I had the same thing with my VL. Was a hassle to clean out. If your coolant has turned to chocolate milk, then headgasket. And yes it can have oil go into coolant but not vice versa. I had it happen once with oil going out the side and down block while coolant went into a cylinder in same area but no mixing of either substance.

Dunno about the 90dB thing. What about screamers? Sidepipes? What rpm do they measure exhaust noise at? I'm going there this sat with circuit club. I'd like to come along to this one too.

Hey, Heres a link to what i did on my 32. Works well and have had no issues with water going up there or rocks etc. I have a custom airbox over the top of it all. As for legality, i dont know about perth, but i read awhile back that in nsw its illegal unless you reinforce around the hole you cut to retain structural integrity. I like that RON. Sounds very promising. The only thing i have heard is the 10% ethanol stuff can foul up plugs on some cars. I personally never had any issues running boost98 from united in the vl or the 32. Both cars just chewed through it alot quicker.
