  1. Pics of S15 wheels and age of pedders springs please.
  2. I'm curious about the cause of this problem also. My 32 (rb20) does it also on warmup. Havent been bothered to look into it yet as it doesnt cause any performance issues.
  3. Is your power fc setup so that the check engine light flashes when it pings? Mine is on my R32 which im sure is similar.
  4. I'd agree with the other ppl telling you its the clutch.
  5. Indeed it does... Surprised the media didnt put some kind of twist on that story to make P platers look worse than they are. "Today 78yo grandfather of 7 entices 36yo son into touge battle...bla bla bla nissans are the devil" - Today Tonight
  6. All i know is that seizing cars is not the way to stop P platers speeding. Just another revenue rasier. I agree with the GPS speed adjustment device. If they cant get the car to speed, they cant speed. I think that driver ed from a young age would also be the key so they know what to do when the car does get into trouble eg braking, swerving, wet weather etc.
  7. Find a new mechanic! This workshop sounds hopeless....
  8. 2 words = Driver Education!
  9. Tensioner lost tension and has jumped a tooth on timing belt and has put your cam timing out?? Something to check considering you have a rubbing noise...
  10. Spotted C U BY r33 at mobil on lane cove rd. Also HOT45S r33 at berowra waters ferry. Also AR05DW white 34 on f3 near hornsby. All on friday arvo. Spotted VI70US r32 GTR on hume hwy yagoona yesterday arvo.
  11. Hey were u running 98 octane fuel when you were doing this test? In my experience i've found that advancing between 2-5 degrees is safe while running on 98 to stop it pinging.
  12. o ok...yeah i work at mazda
  13. I agree with John. I also think advanced driver training should be a mandatory licensing requirement. My 2c
  14. I maintained my 12 points for about 6 months then i dropped to 9 points...where i have hovered around ever since
  15. Quad HKS turbos with 1300 odd hp...wtf batman?! GTTTT hehe Why are ppl putting up fake car ads?
  16. Lol she's smoked a bit too much crack...
  17. Agreed. Take it back.
  18. Fuel pump voltage low? Was just reading about this the other day and hard wiring the pump might solve it.
  19. If i was to do this conversion i'd buy the spigot new from nissan/justjap($10 at most), clutch master and slave from peps in artarmon(new non-gen)(roughly $150 at most), braided clutch to slave line from pirtek/enzed or a rubber one from a vl(not sure on price there...$10 > $150 at most), aftermarket lightened flywheel. As for the box...i saw one somewhere on here in brissy for $600. Hunt for second hand one from private sale. Tailshaft half from sss automotive, jpc lansvale, justjap or gms revesby. Does the pedal box on an r34 need all 3 pedals or does the clutch pedal bolt in separately? May be able to use a 31/32/33 pedal box or just the extra pedal and cut auto brake pedal in half with hacksaw. Should be under 2k easy doing it that way. Hope some of that helps. Good luck!
  20. Have you worked out which cylinder is dropping out? No.1 compression is a bit low in comparison. Could be a valve issue on No.1 considering you put the old head on the new block.
  21. You didnt spot me in my car cause my car has a blown motor lol...although i was in the area the day you speak of. I think you spotted roadworia meeting me. I was in the rolla
  22. Not all of them flash. Some are digital. I had a friend get done in my car and it didnt flash at night. The pic looks like night vision/infrared.
  23. If the old actuators were adjustable and set to 17 psi then you should be able to swap them with the n1 actuators. Measure the length of them first before you do this though to check that it will work on n1's. Otherwise buy a new boost controller. Would be easier. Or if you want a free mod to up the boost...get some pliers and bend the actuator rods so that they have shorter throw
