Nice good to hear. Thanks for the feedback. My front housing looks identical to the turbo in the 1st pic and mine is a 3037R. Was just saying. Mine is a 6 year old turbo and looks different to the current 3037's. The turbine wheels are front 7 blade and rear 10 blade. I cant measure them as they are munched Have any of you guys had any experiences with 3076R on a 20?

The impound in which my vehicle was held in the police impound located in enfield. Its also the same place where the cops fit out their cars with sirens, radios etc. VERY police controlled but they do have civilian workers aswell. Its on the same lot as a vehicle auction place. Pickles maybe. Cant remember. I'd imagine one of the civilian workers pinched my headunit. I just find it unbelievable that it can happen in a police impound. But they are above the law.

Yep spanner is for unbolting the tie rods off the hicas rack from memory. Would have to be a super super deep socket to undo those puppies

Is this the twin scroll version that you guys have been using? I previously had the 3037R which looks identical to the first pictured so called T04S at the start of the thread. It lasted 6 years running 17 or 22 psi and making 250-270atw before having any probs. It dropped a bearing. You guys were saying its crap at the start of this thread but i disagree. I had very good results although it does lag a bit which would be my only complaint. It hit full boost around 4-5k on an rb20 w/ext gate...which are renowned for the lag so it would prob come on alot sooner on a 25. Anyways, i'm considering getting the 3076R instead of another 3037R due to the twin scroll factor but i'm still unsure. Would this turbo reliably handle 17psi daily and 22psi of boost on and off? Anyone have any experience with this turbo on an rb20? The results look good for rb25's. Sorry to ask in an rb25 thread...just dont wanna start a new one. Cheers.

Man i totally agree! I had my car go to police impound years ago. Came back without a headunit. I had removed all other items so it was the only thing that was still in there. Thats crazy they got your car running though!!! Complimentary free police tune maybe?

DOOF... I also agree you should do it yourself. You will feel good that you modded your car yourself. I have always done all my mods and work myself on all my cars since i have gained the knowledge. The stuff you are planning to do is fairly easy. As for the poncams and timing light...If your motor is already timed correctly prior to installation, you can just set the motor on tdc and mark the cas's location. Put everything back exactly how it was after install and away you go...timing will be the same. If you need any help/advice with it, feel free to ask. Ive done all these mods before. PS. Boobies ftw!!

Toyota still sell the gze pistons new. Also so do a few aftermarket places. A good place for aftermarket toyota is swmotorsport.com. They are old school nissan specialists but stock alot of old toyota stuff too. Rollaclub.com is also a good place to try. Those guys know their rollas. Also i'm pretty sure theres 2 types of gze pistons. High comp later model and low comp earlier so you may need to work out which ones you need.
