Hi All, Firstly, thanks for all the interest. To answer some FAQ: Location of all parts is 3153 in MELBOURNE There is one seat for sale only, not a pair. Would prefer local pickup, most items are bulky and not easily/cheaply posted. I will be OS from 15th Aug until 27th Aug, if you wanted something fairly soon best would be to organise pickup after 6pm weeknights or by appointment on Saturday. I am attempting to reply to all PM's but have to wait 5 mins between each reply so appologies if I miss anyone. -

It's a fair size, rough calcution is about $62 with e-go. Dims are about 50cm high by diameter 40cm, could compress it a bit. -
Sold my R33, now clearing some spares and things I found during cleanup. Item 1 HKS Mushroom pod filter with AFM adaptor and brackets. Used, in good condition. Will be cleaned ready for re-oiling or can buy new replacement filter media. This came with my car, but I swapped it over for standard airbox. Price: $60 Item 2 Universal fixed back racing seat. Comes with bride sliding rails mounts directly into R33 (and R32 I believe). Used twice, has been wrapped in plastic so very clean and no damage. Padding is as new, not worn at all. Bride Rails include standard seatbelt clip and wiring harness for seatbelt light on dash. Price: $180 Item 3 Full set (4 off) R32 GTST rims fitted with Bridgestone RE540s SEMI SLICK tyres. Tyres are 1 pair 205/50 R16 1 pair 225/45 R16. Good for another run or skid pan, emergency spares whatever. Rims could do with a bit of a clean, will suit R32/R33 maybe R34 and other cars with 5x114.3 stud pattern. Price: $180 Item 4 Full face Helmet with visor, size L 59-60cm. Brand is KBC and says "VR1 Euro" on the back. Meets AS1698 standards. Basically brand new, I got it but doesn't fit me very well (too big for me), no scratches or anything. Website Review: http://www.motorcycle-accessories-wiseguy....ws-KBC-VR1.html Price: $80 Item 5 R33 Gtst pair of front rotors. Bought these off another forum member as precaution for RWC, didn't end up needing them so no longer of any use to me. These are used (slightly) and are at max thickness still - 30mm. Price: $140 Item 6 Fitted Car Cover to suit R33 coupe. Autotechnica brand "Stormguard" type, fully waterproof outer and padded inner. Uses straps under the car to keep secure and has elastic sides, very snug fit. Was only used on clean car, inner is not stained and exterior has no markings or damage. Due to a new job with a company car, I am selling my Skyline. The car has been excellent the whole time I have owned it (about 4 years), I am the first owner since importing. Basically this car is STOCK, appart from having Tein coilovers which were installed in Japan and running 17 Inch 350Z rims. Vehicle Details: R33 SII GTST 1996 RB25DET 5sp Manual 115,000 kms Rego until Feb 2011 Timing belt, water pump, tensioner etc replaced at 100,000km (Genuine Nissan Belt & Water pump used) Recently replaced fuel filter & oxygen sensor. 17inch Nissan 350Z rims Turbo Timer All stock except for: Tein Flex Coilovers - independent height and preload adjustment. The rear pillow ball upper mounts were replaced recently with Alloy/Rubber upper mounts from ISC, this has made the ride much quieter and a bit more compliant over bumps. 350Z 17inch rims Turbo Timer Clutch - replaced stock unit with Exedy Heavy Duty Organic to keep driveability. Everything in this car works perfectly, there is nothing to extra to spend and no aftermarket engine mods to make reliability a problem. Fuel usage is also good, I average 11.5 lt/100km driving to and from work in traffic no highway, 30km each way. It has been a great car to own, only selling due to new job which includes a company car. THIS CAR RUNS STOCK BOOST AND HAS NEVER BEEN BOOSTED. Serviced every 5,000km using Genuine Nissan Oil and Filter. Price: $11,200 inc RWC Located in Melb SE Suburbs, call Rene on 0403 509 483 or PM here. Also - car is available for inspection now, but sale is waiting on delivery of the new car which is due 27/07/10.

Sick Of My Tein Coilovers!
R.C replied to nizmo_freek's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
This may be helpfull... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...;hl=pillow+ball Won't help too much with the stiff springs, but takes some of the initial shock out over bumps. You could also try BC coilover upper mounts, but I think they use 63.5mm ID springs instead of the Tein 65mm ID. They are a lot cheaper though. -
Adjusting New Coilovers On R33 Gtst
R.C replied to SKYNET's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Not exactly sure what you mean by this...but don't try to raise the ride height by adding spring preload. That is what you have the adjustment on the shock body for. Yes, that is the idea of the threaded shock body. To adjust the height undo the bottom lock nut and wind the whole threaded body of the shock out until you get the height you need. There may be some recommendation on the TT's for the maximum you can safely extend the length before you run out of thread engagement, so check that you don't take it too far out. The rear's are usually extended a lot more than the front to get ride height correct so don't worry if they don't match the fronts. For ride height, there are some recommendations somewhere in these forums (prob in the old Sydneykid Bilstein group buy threads). I think they are something like 360 / 350mm or 350/340 front/rear height from wheel arch to centre of wheel. Mine are 355/345 and is fine for clearance to most speed bumps and driveways and doesn't look ridiculously high. I'm not really into super low cars anyway. With ground clearance, it is measured to the lowest part of your car (including exhaust or anything else hanging down). Not sure the legal limit for Queensland. -
Adjusting New Coilovers On R33 Gtst
R.C replied to SKYNET's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If they're new you may get some instruction sheets with guidelines, if not just set all the spring seats at a simalar height for each pair so that the spring is just fully captured and not loose. I think the TT have an adjustable spring seat as well as height adjustment on the shock body, if so just follow some simple steps: Before installing, check the distance between the spring seat and the bottom lock nut for the shock body, make sure they are same between the front pair and rear pair respectively. This way they will basically be even when installed depending on the weight balance of the car and how closely matched the spring rates are. Install them on the car, then with the wheels on drop the car and compress the suspension a few times by leaning/bouncing on each corner to settle them. Make sure you're on flat, level ground. Measure the height between the top of the wheel arch and centre of the wheel at each corner, this is what is usully used when expressing ride height. If it is not where you want it, jack the required corner up, undo bottom shock body lock nut and wind the shock body either in or out until you get the desired height change. WARNING!! Tighten the bottom lock nut securely after any adjustment! You can cause damage if it becomes loose during driving. Repeat above steps until you get the height you want. Good idea to take it for a quick drive, let the suspension settle a bit then recheck each corner height again from top of arch and centre of wheel. They are likely to move a little at first especially if they're new. You could go to the trouble of corner weighting, but not absolutely necessary. The height measurement from the gaurds should be close enough especially for street driving, you won't notice any difference unless you're majorly off. Good luck.
