  2. what are the standard internals capable of putting out?
  3. Hey Guys, I currently have a RB25DET, PowerFC, GTR FMIC, High flow cat, greddy plenum with Q45 TB, 13psi on standard turbz and big exhaust. Everything else is pretty much stock. Currently im at 217kw, what will i need for 350?? Im thinking injectors, bigger turbo... what else? Its in a S13 so im not sure how much room there would be for a bigass turbo and it has a RB20 gearbox (twin plate clutch), i hear these are only good for around 270kw before they self destruct.
  4. My 25 takes 15 mins to completely warm up.
  5. I bought this, what do you guys think? I got a RB20 box behind a RB25. http://www.nulon.com.au/products.php?productId=xbf#
  6. Chuk the injectors in yourself, what ECU u runnin?
  7. Okay so it looks like if you have a R32 mineral, R33+ synthetic is fine.....
  8. Run a pipe from your inlet tubing to under your seat and make sure to fart during gear changes.
  9. Why does everyone say BOVs are illegal.... they come stock on the car and arent illegal, atmo BOVs are!!
  10. Okay before you say anything ive searched Whats the best fluid to use? Mineral or synthetic? Cheers!
  11. Yeah could be your plenum leaking or a dodgy vacume lead, AAC?
  12. Hey Guys, Just thought i would let you guys know some facts about these cameras as a friend of mine works for the company that installs all the cameras in the ACT. General rule of thumb going around is that the cost of a speed camera will generally be recouped in 1 month from the fines it dishes out (and as little as one week in some places in Sydney). So i dont think anyone has any questions in your mind as to why they are installing them. Red Light cameras dont actually just take a snap shot of you, they record for 10 seconds after every red light change. They have in built storage that will last a few days. They added this feature as its very hard to find out who's fault it is if someone smashes a car at a red light and you have no witnesses. All cameras have a 10% tolerance, ie: your doing 110 the camera wont take a happy snap if you do 121 but will if you do 122, your doing 60 it wont take a happy snap if you do 66 but will if you do 67 etc. This is generally what police officers go by aswell for their handleld jobs. Easiest way to not get caught is to not speed, i cant talk as i have lost my licence three times due to speeding offences although none of the times i was caught was by a mobile van or fixed speed camera (as mobile vans pick the same spots EVERY TIME and fixed speed cameras are FIXED and you are a freakin idiot if you get caught by em).
  13. Okay so from what your saying plumbing it there is a no no, i dont really feel like pulling the whole thing apart again to tap into the water line. Only other place i can think of is here?
  14. nup 25 plenums wont fit a 20.
  15. Come on someone must know
  16. Hey Guys, Just installed a new inlet plenum and im looking for another place to plumb the turbo water return (stock turbo RB25DET). Is it alright to put it here??
  17. Unfortunately it doesnt, too high Found a guy who makes custom rads
  18. Hey Guys, I have a S13 with a RB25, want to get a larger radiator (with the outlet/inlet in the correct position... drivers side). Any suggestions??
  19. MAF you just need to set VH41 from the settings menu.
  20. Yeah Skylines are nice but ive always liked S13's.... For the smaller engine bay size i got a few hundred kilos off on a skyline with the same power output Its a bit of a change from working on my 1971 dodge dart, you can sit in that engine bay and work..... After this is done im looking at upgrading my turbo (another fitting nightmare)!
  21. Yeah i printed out the whole workshop manual, thank god for duplexing photocopiers I started this conversion on Thursday and the girl is b!tching at me to spend time with her, otherwise i would have had it done by now! but you gotta keep the pu$$y happy. Good thing for your engine being in a skyline is that it will be pretty straight forward, if you look at the top pic my fuse box is situated is right where the T/B has to be.... yay! Other than hooking up the T/B, plumbing some PVC pipe (till i get my mate to make up some custom pipes), hooking up the vacume lines and possibly having to extend some cables (for the AAC valve)... im pretty much done
  22. haha so true. To make matters worse, that japanese pdf of the greddy manual is missing some pages and they arent in order..... but if you look at the pics a few times you get the gist of what you need to do.
  23. Nah its cool, im pretty sure i know where it goes. On that attachment, the pipe on the bottom pic is what im referencing. Im pretty sure it goes to the inlet b4 t/b
  24. I save the money used to pay that person to buy other sh!t
