  1. Everything is hooked up on the underside except for one pipe from the AAC valve, if i remember correctly it used to go to the inlet (before the throttle body) on the old inlet pipe (my guess is to bypass the t/b when its closed). Am i correct?

Just finished mounting everything, injectors seem like they are on fine, fuel lines are hooked up, now i just have to move the entire fuse box so i can mount the throttle body the joys of transplanting engines into cars where there not ment to be Yeh i know its hell messy, ill tidy it up when the b!tch starts!

  4. Okay cool, coz i just fitted it then, the three bolts on the bottom line up but the two bolts on the top dont.. does this matter? lol In the pic attached, the green circles line up, the red dont.

  7. Answered my own ?. For all of you wondering, there is a water outlet above the bottom feed that used to go to the old throttle body, use this. Thanks for the assitance
  8. ^^^ WARBY IF you have a S1 RB25 you can take the TPS off the stock manifold and bolt onto the Q45.
  9. I have it, pm me youre email addy and ill send it over. Its 5 megs so make sure whatever address i send it to isnt restrictive in size.
  10. Everything is hooked up fine, im sure its going to be the settings within the amp itself. Unlike normal amps that have dials to turn this is all done electronically.... :S
  11. As the topic states, where the hell should i pipe in the water return line to the turbo?? The original plenum had a outlet at the end of the injectors, firewall side which goes to the turbo.... ive read somewhere that i should plumb it to the front of the engine somewhere near the bottom feed from the radiator.... ideas anyone?
  12. Hey Guys, I have an Alpine MRD1000, when i wire it up and hook up the speakers the unit turns on and i can see the voltage/temperature but tehre is no sound output Anyone done one of these before?

  14. There is no point flow testing it, each one of these manifolds i have seen are different in one way or another, clean it up and it will be fine, internals were all good.

  17. I got 197rwkw out of stock engine, stock turbo, stock injectors, fmic, 10psi and retuned ECU. installed a pfc cranked the boost up to 13psi now im getting 217 rwkw. Injectors and turbo here i come
  18. I have a Greddy Copy eBay special. Checked out the inside and it all looks very simetrical, only rough bit was ONE of the ports (but anyone who is holding the manifold in their hands and doesnt port match it should be shot). Exterior was rough (but the original greddy's arent too smooth either) but nothing some time and patience couldnt fix. If your buying this for bling factor your a bloody idiot (i purchased it as im sick of having unnecesary pipework everywhere in my already limited space... RB25DET in a S13) Fitted.... No leaks... works fine.... You dont always "get what you pay for", you also ALOT of the time pay for the brand name.
  19. Any ECR33 PowerFC will suit S1 & S2 RB25. Only difference with the ignition is the ignitor is built into the coil packs. The ignitor (on a s1) is situated on the coil pack cover, s2 it is located in each coil pack. People get confused as you cant use the RB25DET S2 STANDARD ECU in a S1 (AFM is different). Misfires.... no.... he doesnt know what he's talkin bout. wiring path is exactly the same only instead of the ignitor firing the packs the ignitors in the packs.... fire the packs. Hope this helps.

  23. Hey guys, Ive done a bit of searching but i cant find an electronic boost controller that suits my needs, any suggestions? Ive got a PFC, i want to be able to adjust between high and low boost from within the cabin and for it to do the turbo timing as well. Cheers

  25. Hi Guys, I have a Series 1 RB25DET, about to install the greddy intake manifold and i have a Q45 TB to fit as well. I have read somewhere that for a S1 all you need to do is remove the tps off the Q45, install the TPS from the standard TB and your done.... true?
