What Suspension To Use?
ecr33sky replied to ecr33sky's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Cheers for the replies guys. Anyone try on HKS Hipermax II?? How stiff is it compared to stock suspension? Thanks -
Hi guys, I am thinking of changing my suspension. I have a few names in my mind but I could not decide which one I should go for. I have used search button but could not find what I want. I have heard a lot about HKS Hipermax II, Tein Super Street, Buddy Club, Whiteline etc etc. I do not know much about suspension and would like to have some opinion from you guys. Basically, my car setup is for street use. Its an r34 GTT coupe. After doing my research, I am now thinking whether I should go for HKS Hipermax II, Tein Super Street or Tein the Flex. Any suggestions and reasons why you guys choose a particular suspension? cost vs performance ratio? Thanks in advance.

ecr33sky replied to DATS IT's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Will it fit R34 GTT perfectly? what is the offset? are they coming with centre caps? Cheers, -
@kx2fity Cheers for the tip. Yeah..Will do...I have a couple of names in my mind on where I would get the kit done but still haven't really decided @SKY 34 I went there to talk to them(Carquest)... but yeah...I agree with you...Not to mention what are the exact reasons but I would not recommend them... Cheers for the suggestions. Appreciate it very much. We'll see how it goes

That is an awesome car you got there mate! Love the tail light. But black colour is a bitch to keep clean aye. We are in the same boat by the way (I have a black R34) LOL!
-
Geezz... Thats pretty bad hey... but yeah...hopefully things get sort out easily.... Thanks for the pics...The sideskirt look nice... Post up the full body of the car if you have chance... I reckon it will look really hot
-
Yeah, I will have some scratches to clean up either...might as well do it while I get my kit done. Thanks for the info mate.
-
Is that true mitch? LOL Another question is, how long they took to do everything? i.e. get the kit, paint and fit to the car.
-
Cheers dude.

Thanks for the comments guys. @kx2fity Thats a lot of money just for body kit. Would you mind to tell me a little further about it i.e. How bad is the lifting? Hows the fitting i.e. any gap between kit and car's body? @Mitchy I called him twice already during last week but unfortunately I could not grab a hold of him and hence couldn't get a chance to have a good talk and possibly to get a quote as well. However, I will give another try. Btw, did you get, paint and fit your front bar from brett? Your front bar looks hot. Cheers
-
Where did you go for your front bar then? I am actually after a body kit for my 'line at the moment and still doing research on where I should go for. Cheers
-
Hi guys, I am just wondering how many of you have your body kit/panel work done by Fibre vision? Hows the result i.e. quality of their work? Any comments/opinions are welcome. Cheers. P.S: I have use the search function but the result doesnt give me what I am looking for.
-
Thanks for the comments guys appreciate it very much. I have just rang one of teamjetspeed dealer and they said the kits from teamjetspeed are made in China. So it wont make much different from those from fibrecreation then. They all from China afterall. I think I would rather spend more to get a higher quality kits from japan at this stage after having read and heard about those china kits that wont fit (even if it fits, its not a good fit) But yeah...thanks very much guys for the comments...

Guys, I am thinking on getting body kit from Fibre Creation for my 'line. What do you guys think about the kits made from them? anyone has it? Hows the quality? Are the kits fit the car nicely (without going through big drama/major modification during fitting) Any comments are welcome. Cheers, ecr33sky

Hi ROb, You've got PM

Rob206, You've got PM for my order detail. Cheers mate

Cheers arkon @lukits01 I am not sure the exact size (the exhaust is still on the way) but I am pretty sure it is slightly smaller than HKS Hi-power 409 (correct me if I am wrong). I personally prefer a quiet exhaust and hence the reason why I get this system. Check this web add for the sound : http://www.hks-power.co.jp/sound/
