I've finally got my car, a Nissan Stagea (M35), live up in Dulong (near Mapleton) however you'll only see me driving up the range or to Logan really.

Is there an easy way to adjust the M35 Stagea speedo? The falcon allows for a -/+10 adjustment, does the Stagea? Speedo is out by ~4 under 80, then slowly creeps up to 7 when @ 110. I'd like to lower the speed the speedo reports by 5 if possible.

afaik it's not standard in the m35. --------- The dual opening rear is the main reason I got the car.

I want to keep a Cat I think, lower emissions and from my research a high flow cat/sports cat only slightly reduces power gains. Will try and find a local shop that's "decent".

Thanks a ton, I think I am definitely leaning towards the Legalis but I just need to decide on the dump and front pipe? Any suggestions of which Dump would suit me? Looking at mid-upper range gear. With the ecu, I was planning on doing that in my "second stage" of mods. Keeping in mind I am an uber noob so this is subject to change: Stage 1: Full exhaust (including all pieces), new panel filter. Stage 2: High flow turbo, new ecu/some ecu mod, new wheels. After that I'll just go through one at a time. By "stage" I mean everything listed under that will be done in one hit. First I need to get my alarm and cruise control done though...

I think the R33 looks awesome, I also like the appearance of my Stagea and most people don't. I didn't realise that it was possibly to be so arrogant over cars...

I had a Daewoo as my first car. Nfi what went wrong but I took it rallying, had to get it towed from the same spot 3 weeks in a row. 3rd week = write off. My Falcon gets pretty decent economy on LPG. Around 500km to a tank depending on where I go but since all my highway travel will be done in the stagea now I expect that to drop to 450 or so, costs $30-35 to fill up.

Let me stress I am VERY new to car modifying. Reading up on the exhaust which from what I can gather is a very important mod. So, from the turbo you have your dump pipe, right? This goes into a front pipe then to the exhaust or is the front pipe a part of the exhaust? So if I wanted to throw a full replacement system on my car I'd want the Legalis R, a dump (which I have not even started researching) and then what else? I want to hit that entire system in one go. Excuse my newbyness

Thanks guys. Did you just "know" which ones matched up or did you match a part number from the panel in the car itself? Does a pod have any real performance increase over a panel? By real I mean worthwhile.

Yeah, standard airbox for now. Thanks. Never done much modifying so I have a lot of learning to do. Only ever really done normal servicing (and that was just on a falcon)

Which panel filter from K&N fits the M35? There are a shitload of them and I can't find one listed for the M35 or V35 anywhere (I read somewhere the V35 has the same airbox). Don't want to get the wrong one.

I'm hoping mine goes within 3 months as it's covered by the statutory warranty then I can high flow it and just pay the difference (hopefully).

I also experienced your joy The most annoying thing I found on the m35 is the top boot bit (the glass bit that lifts up) - I never lift it high enough when cliping the dogs lead to his collar and it smacks me on the head every single bloody time. Driving me insane.
