Just updating now. He claims it is at a store getting fixed - for 4 months. Hired a personal investigator now, when I find his phone number I am giving him a call and letting him know he has 3 weeks to refund me the $820 + PI fees or he'll be seeing me in court and if that happens I'll be claiming legal fees on top. Have had a consult with a lawyer - he told me not to add the lawyer fees onto how much he owes me yet, only do that if he denies to repay the money.

How old are you? (Dont have to answer) I want to get a quote for a GTR just for curiosities sake as the reasons I didn't go R32 GTR was Insurance would be higher (Already is $3400 for a GTS-T, 18yr old, 5 months license) and more power and I am unexperienced with relatively high powered cars.

Their website just says no to under 20's, so give em' a call. If my car wasn't financed I wouldn't bother with comprehensive right now, at 3.5k its almost 1/4 what I am paying for the car.

How old is too old though? Just make safety certs harder to get. From memory in NZ (used to live there) warrant of fitness's were hard to get, everything had to work. Here I got my safety cert with no friggin' brake lights! (Dad did it all, I just picked it up. I rewired them immediatly though.)

Wtf. I've had my license for 5 months (haha) and no claims or fines (as you'd assume @ 5 months) and my premium WAS $2800 but was raised to $3500 because the car is financed. God damn Just Cars being the only ones that'll insure an 18yr old.

Mate, I am 18 and I say kids/teenagers are f**ked up. All they do is drink, fight and vandalise (Generalisation alert). Mind you I drink, but don't do the other two.
