  1. Yep, and I'm a definite for one as well if there is one for me! Ian
  2. No, the picture of 4 of them on your desk!
  3. They were only about 260K each! That's small for pictures! If you want medium resolution, look at the ones I did of the Melbourne stage day ie http://www.r34skyline.com/stagea/IMG_5409P.jpg I'd be surprised if there were many dialup users of this forum, anybody smart enough to buy a stagea wouldn't put up with that crap... Ian
  4. ..and I'll take one of the $25 ones (good for my son to build with me in a year or so.. :-)
  5. Where's the picture?
  6. Do we know if they are identical for a series 1 and series 2??? Ian
  7. Have you got a pick of what his looked like? And (after he does the first one, so that he can pre make them) how long does he need your car for? Cause it sounds better than what I can get down here in Melbourne, so a quick trip might be called for... Ian

    Ultimate Shortage

Any in the inner city area? I've rung a few and they all say no, so I just went and put optimax in one of the cars (the lights been on for a while, so it was a bit urgent..). Ian

    Ultimate Shortage

I've just done a post in the general area about this... see http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=95565 Once the stations run out, they won't have any Ultimate for weeks.. Or so I've been told...
  10. And I just found this has been discussed in the Vic part of the forum, ie http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=95232 SOme relevent bits of that are - http://www.fcai.com.au/ethanol.php/2004/11/00000001.html ie Reading the rest of the post, I won't be trying the Optimax Extreme.... Accourding to the ring around I just did, stations only have whatever is left in their tanks, once that is gone there will be no ultimate for weeks... Ian
  11. You may have noticed that BP in Melbourne have NO Ultimate fuel at the moment - and when I asked today when they would be getting some the reply was 'at least two WEEKS'! Given that's what a lot of us put in our cars (I've always reckoned it is the best fuel) we are obviously going to have to use something else.. Going around to Shell, they still sell Optimax (which used to be advertised as at MOST 98 Octane) and also their new Optimax Extreme - 100 Octane, but having 5% ethanol... Has anyone tried the Extreme in their skyline, and if so, how was it? Does anyone think the skyline would have trouble with the ethanol? Or should we not risk it and just use Optimax until BP comes back on line..? Thoughts?
  12. My understanding is that (in vic) you are not allowed to tint the front sides or windscreen - at there is no way you can do it the same as the back.... Ian
  13. Mine fully installed was closer to $650, but that was a few years ago.. Ian
  14. I'll find what it cost me, though it was over two years ago... Is something you need if you do long driving - and most of my R34 km's are here to qld and back - so got to have it! (2000Km each way!) Ian
  15. If you look at the top of your abs unit you'll see it has bolt holes in it to secure things on top... So Nissan must have expected something to go there! I'll take another photo tommorrow of that.. Ian
  16. Mine had a sticker as well (and a plate..), and it does still matter - they just won't except a sticker by itself, they will want it stamped in (in Vic). If they don't it just means who ever looked at your car isn't doing their job... But forget vicroads, wouldn't you WANT it stamped in?! I'm certainly happy to have mine stamped! The guy around the corner from vicroads in dandenong did it for $20... Ian
  17. I've put the two hires group ones at http://www.r34skyline.com/stagea/IMG_5409P.jpg and http://www.r34skyline.com/stagea/IMG_5410P.jpg and if you are wondering what the black thing is on muck's car - it's my laptop doing a rom dump.. Ian.
  18. well, in record slow time, here is a few picks - And we best not forget muck's springs - I also have photo's of everyone standing in front of the cars - do you want me to put them up? And the photo's above are a 50th of the size of the full ones from my camera, does anyone want the full res ones? Ian

  20. Sorry, been a bit busy... The rostra unit (with the rf remote) - The remote just clips to the side of the steering wheel - The control box goes on top of the ABS unit, with the throttle cable looped around - And here is the actual unit numbers - so you need - 1) The RF remote 2) the control box 3) the right throttle cable 4) (for a manual) the clutch switch.
