  1. In my limited time spent on SAU, and perusing through the R35 GTR forums, I notice there are a lot of threads along the lines of; - I want to upgrade my brakes - How do I fix the understeer - I want more power etc. From my understanding, Nissan engineers took a fairly stock standard GTR to Nurburgring and ran a 7:27.something lap time, which is pretty damn quick, and I'm guessing 99.9% of SAU GTR owners would not even come close to that. So is it not fair to say that these people should learn to drive their cars first before spending money on it trying to 'buy' skill? No disrespect intended to SAU GTR owners as I'm sure there are some very accomplished drivers on the forums (and modding your car is half the fun of owning it! ), it's just an observation I've made and I think it is a relevant discussion point - more driving less modding? Keen to hear your thoughts..
  2. Hey Guys, I've been informed these tyres are actually no good, so cancel that. Mods please close, thanks.
  3. These have been sitting in the garage for a while now. There are some minor surface cracks on the outside of the sidewall - does not go deep so tyre integrity is fine. I would use these myself but I've only got 16" and 18" wheels. $40, pickup from St.Lucia, Brisbane. Heaps of tread! Cracks on outside outer surface only: Inside, no cracks:
  4. OP I'd be pretty disappointed with those results. My unopened RB25 with stock turbo @ 1bar made 305hp (~230rwkw) -injectors -fuel pump -z32 afm -powerfc -ebc -3" straight through exhaust -3" fmic piping with 100mm thick cooler (engine compression was 160psi across the board)
  5. If sale falls through PM me I will buy them. I have cash...
  6. Item Summary: Stich Evolution 18x8.5" +11 (5x114.3) with 215/40/18 Federal 595's Location: QLD: St.Lucia, Brisbane Condition: New Reason for Selling: Found a pair of VSKF's for the front Asking Price: $950.00 Delivery Methods: PickUp or Free local delivery to Brisbane suburbs otherwise $20 to deliver to Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast, or can post interstate for ~$100 Contact Info: Michael on 0413 504 084 Extra Information: Hey guys, I've found a pair of VSKF's to run on the front so I'm going to sell my Stich Evolutions. They are 18x8.5" +11 (5x114.3), almost the perfect size steer rim for a silvia/skyline with stock guards and the offset to make them sit tough on the car. I've included some pics of how they sit on my s15 (it is very high at the front at the moment but when lowered they tuck in and give perfect fitment). They have Federal 595's on them with 30% legal tread left. I have just had these rims refurbished - lip sanded & polished, centers powdercoated and new nuts/bolts throughout, so they are in "as new" condition. They also have center caps, which aren't pictured, but I should be getting them back on Tuesday from the powdercoater. These really are a great looking wheel and the only reason I'm selling is to make way for the VSKF's, which look even better

  9. So this is for looks only? At the start of the thread I thought "ok the wood is to mould the cf", but now it's part of it, wtf? How much does the thing weigh? Isn't the point of cf so parts can be replicated at an ultra light weight? Seems like a waste of time to me, kudos for the effort though.
