I would love to know the best way to clean a turbo and cheapest way. becuse mine is makeing a diffrent sound then normal it is sorta makeing a whilstle sound at low gear and after that it dosent make it any more dont know whats wrong but any help would be great might be on it's last legs i dont know or should i high flow it no idea any ideas would be great. Thank you
  3. my window goes up really slowley but goes down fine after it goes past half way i need to click it down fast the hold up and do that a couple times to put it up would it be the motor or just that i need to solder the wires in my box because it dosent seem strong enough to push the window up the motor in about 3 windows and is makeing weid sounds like it is trying to push it up and is going really slow any help!!!!!
  4. im talking about the access through the boot. there is a panel with 4 bolts holding it in, next to your battery in the boot. i recommend you wait till your tank is almost empty before you do this. 1. take the panel off 2. disconnect the looms (leave the hoses running from the lid because fuel will rush out of it. watch out you dont damage any when loosening the cap). 3. get a plank of wood or a long screw driver and hammer then hold it onto the little little fin things on the cap, then hammer it around to loosen (let me know if this needs to be explained a bit better). watch out for the rubber seal around the lid. 4. detach the fuel lines and remember where each one goes. the reason i left the hoses for this stage is when the fuel starts rushing out you'll be able to let it flow back into the fuel tank. 5. grab the level sender and mount the sucker back on. 6. when putting the lid back on, i recommend using a bit of WD40 to get the lid and the rubber seal sitting snug inside where the cap goes on. you'll know what i mean when you see it. 7. put the rest on in the reverse order and it should be right smile.gif i just copy and past what u have to do hope that helps and im free on weekends

Hey i need to fix my fuel sender in a r33 S1 4door turbo . and im a bit worried in doing it my selfh since im not familer with cars and saving to move out dont want to pay a mechanic 300 just to fix it i know how to do it in my head i mesmerised it in my head butttt it might go boom and i want to live ive had the car for 5 months now and it has been like that from the get go and i need to resolder my wires in my drivers side door as well for the power windows could do that my selfh easy after reading about it so if any one in the area can help out a fool with the fule sender will be greatley appreciated. and i know no one else that owns a skyline all my friend want one but dont have enough money i live in vic 4 km from the city western suburbs will drive any where for some help

  7. i have parkers or fog lights eithe one in my 1993 S1 rb25det 4 door and they are really dim and it is on the handle with the normal driving lights and indercators guess it must be stock with the 4 door r33 rb25det
  8. ive neva had the warning light come on b4 so thats a good sign after it was on empty for 50km so defently it is the fuel sender will have to do that then first time doing any thing to my car lol hope it goes well and i dont stuff it up

  10. ok ill check it out but i dont know what side of the boot it is on or where it should be attached to or what needs to be attached to it now i know what it looks like all i have to do it find out where it is and see if it is on the bracket. and with the 32 it has a smaller engin as well 2.0 ltr compared to the 2.5 and turbo on top of it as well
  11. when i fill up maxium it has teken is 49 liters at 330 k's and i will check the level sender if u have any pics of it i would greatley appreciate it
  12. hi i own a r33 gtst 4door series 1 i dont know how big the fule tank is i dont know how may liters per 100 km and dont even know how much i should get out of a tank and my fule gauge is giving miss readings. the first half it says i ruffley get 180km the last hallf it says it onley gives me 90 km on the guage so that equals to 270hm per tank witch is really poor so what i did once was run it just keep driving i know thats bad for the car to run out with these kind of fule pumps but i ran it till it got to 330 on the clock it showed empty for 50km. and it seemed to have plenty of fule would start up easy. and im getting diffrent reading all the time on my fule guage each time i fill up my car. ive asked a machinc and he says all fule gauges dont show correct reading's but 50 km + is a big diffrence all fule gauges i see seem to read right. i use boost 98 and i have aftermarket dashes but every thing else works fine the speedo revs boost temp oil so it cant be the aftter market dashes the car is pretty much stock apart from that can any one help me on how to fix it if it can be please would greatley appreciate it
  13. hi i was just wondering what a stock r33 s1 turbo 4 door auto psi is and what would it need to be if i get it to 250 rwkw. i would like to know what options there are for upgrading it to 250 rwkw the chepest way but effective i was thinking 3 inch exhaust all way to catback and a 3 inch dumppipe and mabey a new intercooler wouldent bring it to 250 but it would make a diffrence in power. and i am gona up grade my tyers as well they are 225/16 inch was thinking 235 or 245 if so do they fit a stock with out rolling back the guard or would i need to upgrade my rims for a 235 or 245 to fit. rims at moment are 16 inch and if i do upgrade my width would i need to get the speedo recalibrated. sorry i am pretty new to cars dont know much so if i have stuffed up on any thing please let me no for future refence any prices on this matter would be gratley appricated
  14. that happend to me i had the exact problem it was my timeing belt it takes a while to get to but if that snaps man i wouldent want to be u on the top of the engin at the front there should be a sticker the last time the timing belt was changed mine wasent changed at all from when it was made im glad i did now it runs a bit better and no nise any more it cost me 225 for timing belt and to install it as well because i got some other stuff done as well to it witch lowed to labour cost
