  1. you ARE coming right?
  2. I'm thinking i remember around 94dB. The actual law in ACT is derived from year made and weight. They have several classes - i don't remember anything more specific than that though. If you weren't legal - you wouldn't have passed, they are reasonably thorough.
  3. Haha. I work there. Does it really count? I assume you're the black one with chrome mags?
  4. i know. i filled out the form, and was going to get the money order together before i moved to Finance (i was at ACMA in Belco previously), and kinda left the form there. Work is somewhat anal at finance about personal browsing so i haven't got it together since. Someone send me a PM on wednesday and i'll fill one out and join!
  5. Saw a Grey R33 with a fancy front bar yesterday, oh and gold wheels. Oh yes it also had a SAU banner across the back. I think i might get one of those, they look sweet.
  6. Chances are, that would have been me. I haven't seen anything with the same paint job as this one.
  7. Veilside R33 (+1) MKDR33 Shell (+ Damo maybe) leech_ + Fi MANG Frink Datto260Z (maybe +1 R33) Low200 CEF11E CeJay Donnan S T A R 3 3 (+1.. +many more hoochies) Darkon nsanity (+1)
  8. where is this list? i like pizza. APK is pretty good when you eat in too.
  9. drove past this evening at quarter to 6. still closed. blue chains wrapped around the door. ???
  10. must be a different building i'm thinking of.
  11. i Believe that is DAFF and APSC.
  12. not when you knock off at 4 (god bless flexible lunch breaks)
  13. A mate of mine at work has one, i went for a ride in it - apparently its one of the only auto's that will take (and has) a PowerFC. Its ok, He says its more about the convenience about having 4 doors (he's an ex-supra/soarer guy) and it still has the toyota he loves.
  14. I'm about to do the same thing. Only skipping on the Coilovers and going straight for the SydneyKid kit - all of it. ~2300 + install.
  15. me thinks that a certain MR2 needs work.
  16. by people who know what they are doing. they aren't simply taken to by a hacksaw.
  17. I'm chasing the similar power gains, and have no desire to f**k with internals. The shopping list. Full Catback Exhaust + Dump pipe Hi-Flow Cat FMIC K&N Airfilter or Pod, with Cold Air Induction snorkel Fuel Pump (think Bosch 040 or 044) Coil Pack PowerFC (or similar) Boost Controller (Electronic is easier) Z32 AFM Cams (Tomei for example) Injectors (shoot for 80% duty with your target output, that way something can fail and you wont blow your engine) HiFlow RB25 Turbo Thats roughly the order too. All that, plus a tune by someone who knows whats up, you're looking at 250-280rwkw, every bit as responsive as the original turbo, and very very quick. (n.b this is for an RB25, RB20 you'd probably need to massage a little more)
  18. Cutting springs is Dangerous, never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever EVER CUT your Springs. NEVER EVER DO NOT DO IT YOU WILL DIE
  19. i'd agree, but Marc2 will tell you for sure - the guy does them for a living, with a very advanced machine too i might add, also is in contact with SydneyKid from here quite a bit (thanks to my car mostly ). Chris at Inline does Porsches and race cars, but that being said, Marc and co at Belconnen Discount Tyres know their stuff regarding wheel alignment/balance etc as well.
  20. i suggest you find a new tuner. that doesn't look like a radiator at all. i don't even see hoses.
  21. hardly a specialised job. more of a general service thing, unless you actually want them to pull apart the centre, etc. If so, try one of the transmission places listed in the service thread.
  22. saw a white r32 down athlon drive about 20 mins ago.
  23. We'll be there if Jayce is. The missus still swears that they be comfy shoes Jayce. Infact she needs another set for "walking about town".
  24. Steer into the skid. Buy decent tyres. Do a bunch of motokhana's. be happy and merry
  25. I've had to drive about late at night the last few days and i must say - definitely looking forward to winter. Or at least the car is. Wastegate lets off that much louder, boost is just a smidge bit bigger, car is that much more responsive. Mmmmm, cool weather.
