  1. lol! Im guessing you havent read the last 14 pages Putting some metal or a coke can under the BOV blocks it off from the intercooler pipe. Then you just block off the tube that runs from the manifold to the BOV and you will get Fully Sick Flutter. If you want details or instructions just PM me
  2. Haha I used Coke Yeah the turbo will be fine, even at 10psi or higher without a BOV there would be no damage. I think people start thinking stuff in there head and panic, when theres nothing to worry about. Are you gonna keep the fully sick setup? Yeah i have the stall problem sometimes, do you know what it is caused from? Ive done about 1000km
  3. Flutter is Fully Sick bro lol
  4. Your Turbo will be fine Ive gone through so many threads and read so much about not using a BOV. Conclusion is that it will not damage your turbo at all. At the most it will take 1 hour off the life time of your turbo, lol. Block up your manifold tube and block the BOV with some metal or a coke can and listen to the fully sick flutter
  5. Well its been around 4 months since the last time I blocked off my BOV for some fully sick flutter. The last time I did this my car kept stalling and I could always smell fuel so I changed it back. I decided to try it again a few days ago and so far my car has been running really well. I used the old coke can trick and blocked off the Manifold pipe. My car hasnt backfired since and seems to be starting up alot easier. The gear changes also feel alot quicker. If my stock BOV is getting old can it casue the car to backfire and not start properly? Flutter is fully sick, lol
  6. I have a RB20DET and blocked off the standard BOV. It worked really well, sounded good and gear changing felt quicker. Although it started to stall on me every now and then. Revs would just drop down when i changed gears, was very werid. When i put the stock BOV back on car worked fine again. Anyone know why this would happen? Thanks
  7. I had the same problem with my RB20DET. When i reached 4500revs my car would start popping until 5500revs. When you replaced the coilpacks did you use new spitfires or did you buy second hand stock coilpacks? I ended up taking out my coils and sealing them up with silicon. I also used NGK copper 0.8mm and took out my NGK Iridiums 1.1mm. Since ive done that I havent had a problem since. If you want to know how to seal up your coils and what silicon to use send me a pm
  8. Depending on how much you are going to mod your car and how stuffed your stock coils are. My coils started Popping at 4500revs but I fixed them with silicon. I also changed from Iridum 1.1mm Plugs to Copper 0.8mm. Im running 12psi and havent had a problem since. If i had extra money I would buy Spitfires but otherwise $600 can be spent on alot better things, such as fuel pump, boost controller, front/dump pipe, Intercooler, Injectors, Lighten Flywheel, Turbo.
  9. Does anyone know the Size for the R32 Skyline Front Door Speakers? Thanks
  10. Hey, I was just wondering what size the front door speakers are on a 4 Door R32 Skyline. Thanks
  11. Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows what size the front speakers are in the front door of a R32 Skyline? Thanks
  12. Anyone else have any ideas please?
  13. Hey, The other day when i was pressing the MODE button on the Air Con it stopped changing from vent to vent and is now stuck on the Windsheild Vent. I want to get the front Vents working again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a vacuum line which could of come loose? or is it electrical? Thanks
  14. Ahh ok, Well with the Rb25 you will get 5psi boost at first and then at 4500revs it will go up to 7psi. It has a dual stage boost solenoid. So it could be that which is broken or not working properly. Check the lines going from the turbo to the solenoid and see if there are any leaks. By passing the solenoid and just using a boost controller also might fix the problem, plus you will get a set boost of your choice. So you could run 7psi or 10psi straight away. Better than running 5psi and then 7psi.
  15. Yeah on a RB20 the stock boost is 10psi. It should hit 10psi at around 3500revs. The exhaust should also make it boost up quicker. Could be a leak in one of your lines or it could be your Acuator. My mates R32 was only boosting to 7psi, he put on a boost controller and it made 10psi no problem.
  16. Hey, Get the R34 Turbo! I have a R34 Turbo on my RB20 and it runs really well! Bolted straight on and used the RB20 Actuator to get the stock 10psi. Boost starts just before 3000revs and Full boost comes on just before 4000revs.
  17. How could the stock turbo be going past its efficiency range when it comes out factory as 10psi? It should hold 10psi fine unless there is a vacuum leak or something. I would of thought something like 14psi would be past its efficiency range...
  18. Should be getting a Quarter Mile time in a few weeks
  19. I got 196rwkw with a R34 Turbo running on 12psi and a 3 1/2 inch Cat back. I checked my ECU and it wasnt chipped. Is there anyway to see if it was been remapped? Dyno Results and Mods on my Signature
  20. I have only a few mods but found the R34 Turbo made good power on my RB20. I have a 3 1/2 inch Cat back and made 196.4rwkw, so I would change your exhaust to something bigger straight away. Dyno results and Mods are on my signature
  21. My RB20 made 196.4kw with some small mods. I think the R34 Turbo made a big difference. Dyno Results are on my Signature. Shoebox I suggest you get rid of the Dual Stage boost and just run a constant 8-10psi.
  22. I think you should get it dyno tuned again, maybe somewhere different. Should be putting out a bit more power.
  23. Changing the Cams should give you more low down power. A lightened Flywheel will let it rev quicker which should get it into boost quicker. Im running a lightened flywheel and i think there is a big difference. My mates R32 doesnt react as quick when taking off and the revs go up so much quicker on the run.
  24. The HKS Foam Pod isnt very good. The foam can break away and it doesnt filter very good. The best Pods to get would be either a K&N or Apexi. I have a K&N and it works really well but ive read that the Apexi Pod has the best air intake and the best filter.
  25. Haha yeah, well if ya live in Perth you should come down to Hyperdrive at the next shootout and see what you get. Yeah im going to get a Quarter Mile time Hopefully next week when I get new tyres. I agree that its weird about the power output and it does seem like with that kind of power the ECU should of been tunned or remapped. Maybe someone before me got the ECU remapped or tuned...... not sure though. Yeah we should drag at Kwinana next week kamakazi. See what quarter mile times we get
