^^ Agree, Unless your soaking you filter in the oil, I can't see why the piping would be covered in the air filter oil. Do you have a catch can? Is it baffled? Cheers Josh

No one wants a quality BOV these days? Cheers Josh
-
They can cause your AFM to play up, varies on different models etc. Cheers Josh

Same here, My car was imported with it, and i noticed it pingin a little at high rev's after a bit of thrashing (this was on my 180sx). Took it to check the A/F's and that was the culprit! Cheers Josh
-
I had one of these, but the HKS unit, My tuner told me to remove it straigh away. They tend to fail and most likely make your car run extremely lean, and we all know what happens then. If you must keep it, then goto a dyno and get them to tune it. It fools your afm to dumo more fuel. Cheers Josh

If you fuse it blowing there is a short somewhere, Does it only happen when you want to fold them in and not just by adjusting them? Cheers Josh

Clicking Noise When Turning The Steering Wheel
GreddyGo replied to Hill Billy's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
If your unsure on howto remove and check a steering wheel with an airbag attatched I suggest you take it to a god mechanic. If an airbag accidentaly goes off when you playing around it can cause death. I have seen this a TAFE videos (The really corny ones!) Cheers Josh -
Do you have 2 different tyre sizes compared to the front and rear? I'm guessing your speedo is working correctly. You can do a diagnostic run to check for problems, have a search for the appropriate thread. Cheers Josh
-
I wouldn't change over a rb25 r33 but definately an option for a r32 with an rb20 though! Cheers Josh
-
on nissansilvia.com there is someone who has put an sr into a R32. The SR isn't as smooth and your RB but it will give you a punch in the back that an RB will never do! Cheers Josh

The only concern with steel wool would be if it come's apart and you get little bits of wool getting sucked into your turbo. I suppose you could tack weld some stainless sheets in there. Cheers Josh

Does The Ecu Temp Sensor Affect Fuel Consumption ?
GreddyGo replied to Munkyb0y's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What you mean?? If your asking about whether to use aftermarket or genuine. I would suggest genuine. If the car is overheating or running to cold with a genuine thermostat, something else is wrong in the cooling system. Changing to an aftermarket is going to hide the problem. Cheers Josh -
A Maroon R33 Pulled into my work car park in Norwest, I think his misses was driving the car, she was very carefull on the driveway. I was the guy havin a smoke on the balcony! Cheers Josh
-
Hey Guys, I have a Genuine Sard R2D2 Atmo BOV that was used on my R34 for sale! I now longer need due to switching over to a HKS Item. Want around the 150 mark. Preferably people in NSW so I don't have to bother with shipping. If your interstate shipping will be ontop of sale price! Pics now up! Cheers Josh
-
Just a quick question, What do you guys use to baffle your catch cans?? Steel wool or something similar?? And I didn't think it was illegal if it's connected up properly, if you have one with the airfiler attatched instead of going to the intake it would be illegal??? Cheers Josh
-
It wasn't, a few gearbox rebuilds later and he learnt his lesson. The worse was I was driving my car and he would change the gears for me without warning! Cheers Josh

Your Car Color Reveals Your Personality
GreddyGo replied to Modena's topic in General Automotive Discussion
The whole colour thing and accidents is bullshit! If you can't see a black car at night with it's headlights, parkers and indicators then you need a pair of glasses! Cheers Josh -
^^ Thanks for the correct, I couldn't remember the spelling. It sucks but I think you will find it hard to get any sort of "legal" compensation for the damage. Why did u get it fitted, painted and then removed anyway?? Cheers Josh

Does The Ecu Temp Sensor Affect Fuel Consumption ?
GreddyGo replied to Munkyb0y's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yes I have, Do it all te time to diagnose at work. But your putting a cold thermostat in hold water, so the difference in temp is large. So it would react much quicker. Cheers Josh
