Bayer Smash repairs do immaculate work, will be more expensive than some but if your getting repaired under racq you wont have a problem with them approving the work. They also do all of motorline BMW's work everything is to a very high standard. goodluck

Fmic Vs Stock Airbox. Fight Of The Year!

if you cut that middle section out wont that mean you have to cut the reo? I think it runs behind that piece of plastic. I have been wanting to cut mine out as i have the same bar but dont want to void my insurance by cutting out structural metal would be good for flow! -
the Via Aqua 750 under the tank should do the trick, the internal filter is just to create some flow. On the coral it is a bit of an unknown thing as I have been told many different thing from many different people which always seems to be the case, the chemist that lives next door reckons it will probably raise the ph a little making it more alkaline which is ok as the Africans handle it no worries. Thee natural habitat in the rift lakes is quite salty and alkaline but they are a hardy type of fish to keep, I have never lost any to sickness just bad tempers! For those not familiar with African they do require a small amount of Rift Lake salt to be added with the water change. stand is all made out of 25mm HD MDF and requires a small army to move, my dad made it for me to match my other furniture

I have a 4' African tank I love the tangs have a great colony of frontosa Im looking for some largish Altolamprologus compressiceps at the moment if anyone knows where I might find some? been into fish and reptiles for a couple of years now. here is a pic from about 2 years ago. There is now a lot less malawi's in there and the fronnies own the tank have put in a bit more coral too.

I know its a long shot but... I am taking some photos for a motorhome company on the weekend and need a wider angle lense to get good interior shots, something up to 14mm would suffice prefer 10 or 12. I have been trying to get my hands on a sigma 10-22 but there is no stock anywhere in brissey and a 3-4 wk wait and is $600 cheaper than the canon variant which I dont have the money for at the moment. so if anyone has one that i can borrow in return I can offer cash, carton, bottle or "favours" and a promise to treat it with the highest respect and care I will also be happy to leave a deposit that you are happy with. Thanks! Dan

any new developments? one thing I just remembered reffering to the car yard in question, Back when it was melb cup day my mates car was back for like the 10th time to be fixed (same problem every time) he had aranged with the owner of the yard to have his car dropped off to him at work (because he refused to drive the totaly unroadworty POS Loan car any more) Anyway come 5pm my friend call to make sure the car will be dropped off and the receptionist informs him that "the boys have had a few too many to drive, you will have to come pick it up yourself" at this he became very pissed as this meant asking his boss to leave early yet again None of this mattered anymore as minutes later he got a call back from the receptionist saying that the car was on its was, his comment to her was so a couple of drunk guys a driving my car back? there was silence on the other end... Sure enough his car came screaming into his work place driven by the guys that had a few too many to drive... the car smelt of clutch/brakes as though it had just been thrashed... what more can you say...? and it was still playing up! Anyways the end of the story to date is his car is now fixed by another mechanic and has been trying to get reimbursement from the said car yard, will see what happens as he dropped off a 4 page letter of demand yesterday and plans on taking them to court as it cost around $600 to get it running right.

I went to the last skid pan day and had a blast was awesome to go out and have a muck around in the wet and learn a thing or two about how to controll my car a little better and had an all round great day. I will be going to the next one for sure and hopefully will have 2 more white 33's with me this time Also dont be worried about how long it will take to get to gympie as it is all pretty decent driving and goes quickly although the 15min to the next McDonalds sign ended up being about half an hour from the maccas, thats my only complaint! Cheers, Dan

hell yes please do that people like this give the industry a bad name!!!!!!
-
just by any chance the owner/manager wouldnt go by the name of mark would he? A good mate of mine bought a GTIR from an import yard in springwood and has had huge dramas including never being able to get hold of the person in charge for days his car going "missing" lots more things to list. if it is at the same place you car will more than likely be at XX XXXX XXXX (pm for the name) better not put it up just in case it is a different yard in question, Cheers, Dan

Last time I bought my oil it was $89.99 at autobarn slacks creek I am hoping there is somewhere cheaper than that as I do think they have raised the price from $79.99 (5L) Anyone know where to get a better deal on Royal Purple? also whats your views on oil filters I have been using the KnN ones so far are the cheaper brands as good? what about genuine?
-
I have been using Royal Purple for the last 40,000kms and love it previous owner used ELF (not sure on details) but engine did feel better with the royal purple in it. Wont be changing to anything else from my experience so far. Interested to know what price is this Penrite SIN?

interested to know who did the highflow and approx kms
-
but dosn't it suck waiting 1/2 hour+ just to change a tire?! have you actually done this? cause i would have loved to have seen the racq dudes face lol I take it you are quite capable of doin it yourself?
-
just out of interest would there be much gain in doing a 25/30 in a relativly stock car usual mods which i have at the moment PFC, Exhauste, Cooler boost at 12psi. the reason i ask is that a mate of mine that is a mechanic has a couple a rb30's hangin around and is trying to convince me to put one in (its not going to cost much to do as we will leave the engine as is) I plan on going a highflow and injectors in the near future and think i will be happy with that for at least a year or so. so in the end will it be worth it on a fairly stock car? more than anything im looking for torque and driveability thanks! Dan
