So i go away for a couple days and come back to this.... Nice! My bad. I guess when i wrote this post i should have addressed as HELPFUL GUIDANCE, Let me know ur HELPFUL thoughts! Stay out of this post Dohmar cos ur not helping me out ay cos u've got no useful guidance for me. I don't see who made u the judge as to what i do with my cash. It is a choice that i have made. It has been my choice to go without insurance for the past few years and and that is the gamble i have taken. And i don't need to justify myself to u, or anyone! Nice use of cliches, Forest but what useless crap u have to say has nothing to do with what GUIDANCE i have requested. So stay out of this discussion. Something tells me that if this was an in-person discussion u wouldn't be so opinionated. Funny how u can voice ur opinions so much stronger behind the safety of a keyboard. Thanks for the support guys, except for u, selfish Dan! Friendly Dan seems like a heaps better bloke. A big thanks to writeoff for the comprehensive advice. I should have mentioned that i DON'T have insurance. Did go down to the crashies today and they gave me a bit more insight as to where i go from here. They said i can claim total loss in which i get the pay out of what the car would've been worth minus the cost of the wreck and i get to keep the wreck (providing all goes well with the insurance company). Seems like a fairish deal atm, just all depends on what they value the car at. I took some pics of it and i'll post them up when i get the camera tomoz. Once again, cheers for the advice David!
