  1. Hey thanks for the tips. This Car is giving me headaches, l just spent a fair bit on suspension, now this, l know that after these two things are out of the way something else is going to happen,
  2. I need some stock standard R33 GTST Strut Tops That is 4 of them In Sydney area. Cheers
  3. cheers danielr34 l'll look them up l'm starting to freak out now, l think l'm going to move my car into the backyard, damn it l'm in a quiet town too.
  4. That SUCKS :verymad: I dont even know what the alarm looks like. Is it a big box ,,,small???? Where is good or reputable in Sydney Area How much do you think it would cost to rewire it?? l know that all the wires are black and i didn't get a manual with it. ASSH$%#$%#% Glad you dont know where l live
  5. l have always wondered this. i have a mongoose alarm m80 series with 3 point imobiliser blah blah blah. is this alarm suppose to be hooked up to the passenger door as well?? when l disarm the alarm, but dont touch the car it will rearm itself fully not just imobilise the engine ( that is lock the doors again), however if l disarm the alarm and open the passenger door, the alarm does not sense that any door has been opened and fully rearm itself, Which leads me to think that the passenger door can be jimmied or opened however theives do it... and my alarm won't know. is there an easy fix?? l had the alarm installed in january this year, and l dont want to go back to that S@#$hole if thats how dodgy they are. l'd prefer to go somehere a little more reliable.
  6. Are they in good condition?will you send to NSW? and will they fit a series 1???
  7. do you still have the struts and springs? if you do have them do you know the specs? is it $100 for the set of four or pair? Cheers
  8. Hi Sydney Kid thanks for that. l accidentally gave you the wrong number of coils on the rear. its actually 8 1/2 coils. sorry mate I have coilover's and l have adjusted the damper every which way and its still really hard. can the coilovers be hard from manufacture regardless of how much you adjust the damper?? I really dont like the ride at the moment, are you still doing that grooup buy from whiteline? I have a 96 R33 GTST, and would like a soft susepnsion set up. I was about to call whiteline to have some new springs made. What do you think is a good idea.
  9. Brand new, never been fitted, still in box. Springs Only BNCR33 Installation of these springs will lower the factory height -40mm front / -25mm rear. These springs are designed for better handling. (Spring rate kg/mm F = 6 / R = 6.5) $300ono Sydney I bought these thinking they would fit my GTST, needless to say, they don't.
  10. hi Sydney kid Do mind doing these for me. l expext them to be pretty hard, my butt can vouch for it. Front Coil ID: 88mm Wire Dia: 13.00mm # of Coils: 7.75 AND Rear Coil ID: 86mm Wire Dia: 12 # of Coils: 7.75
  11. does anyone know a place in sydney that is good for a wheel alignment for skylines? trustworthy l mean, also mechanical work too l suppose.
  12. Hi I have a question about the spring rates on my car. l own a r33 gtst and it feels like l'm in the flintstones car, it is that stiff l dont like driving it, l called whiteline and they said they could make some springs up for me, however l'm not too sure on the spring rate to give them. l was advised at 6kg for front and 4 kg for the rear. Can anyone give me a comparison as to what 6/kg 4/kg would feel like? (not so smoothe roads still feel heaps bumpy??) After driving my car for the past few months l am really sick of it. what is the best rate for me? I am just driving it to and from work, l dont race it ( i'll still have these coils to changeover if l ever want to), rarley thrash it. l just want more comfort over potholes and dips in roads. (right now reflector's on the road feel like potholes, and potholes feel like l'm driving on a cattle grid.) l am about to measure the springs now to give to Whiteline. They want to know the inside diameter of the spring and the spring height. and my last question is ( if l can explain myself properly) When l give these dimensions to them will factor in the softer rate that l want and give me a longer spring to compensate the "squish" ( l'm sure thats not the correct terminology) or compression its going to be under? l have JIC coilovers, and there yellow( l dont know if they colour code their shocks just a bit of FYI) Sorry for the longass post and for any one that has read this far and those that reply, thanks in advance.
