  1. Are the sards the old single pintle type? If so chuck in injector correction of 70% (so you have a bit of extra fuel just in case) and a latency of 12ms. done, drive it off boost to the tuner, the o2 sensor will do the rest.
  2. I thought the same thing. It's hard enough (and expensive enough) getting on the track now for chumps like us. I can just see them jacking up the prices to cover the costs.... Looks great, shame i probably wont be able to afford to drive there.....

  4. keep the top one, it's part of your climate control. You will have to run a couple of wires for it from one of the dash plugs and pinch the original plug off the rb20 engine loom. ditch all those hoses unless you are running the factory boost control. Run a single feed from somewhere in your piping to the actuator. You'll have to add a nipple as the rb20 piping doesn't have one.
  5. Sorry mate, DB1170 ans 1220 are the regular r32gtst/gtr and r33 gtst part numbers. Brembo's are different but i don't know the numbers
  6. which kumho's? I'm thinking about a set for the next track nugget but it weighs around 1050 so was considering a softer compound.. i assume 22 is cold pressure?
  7. i never had an issue with my GCG highflow which i bought second hand used for a year or so and then sold to go bigger. They are, in my opinion, the best of all the high flows available. However, i'd chose a gtrs over a high flow any day and a 2835proS over a gtrs any day as well and an ex gate .63 3071 over pretty much anything on an rb25 Just depends on the dollars you want to spend.
  8. i agree with benm. f**k paranoia. Ignorance is bliss Bolt up some turbos, chuck it in the car and see what it can do. I never even did a compression test on my wrecker rb25 until i binned the car and decided it was worth checking the numbers before sale. Best numbers i've ever seen.....
  9. no reason why you can't have better than stock economy if it's tuned right and driven off boost. If you are driving it everywhere at WOT then your economy will obviously be bad, but it'll be a result of the way it's driven, not the injectors or tune.
  10. I had some success with making heat shielding. It increased the lifespan and it didn't fail again before i changed the setup completely but the signs were there that it was going to eventually. It's a lot easier than pulling evenything off too. You may also have issues with tension in the pipes. Big shift, engine rocks a fair bit and the metal pipes have no give, the silicone bend is the weak link. Just a thought.
  11. cams won't gain you much as you are around the limit of what the 2835 can make. You might stretch it to around 280. I can't say for certain the 3037 will make the power you are after but it will go closer than adding cams to the current set up
  12. I'll give you one from left field to get you thinking. For so little track work i wouldn't even factor that into the equation. You are predominantly street driving so you want a tyre that performs in the wet, is quiet, and will give you a reasonable life. forget about the softer street tyres like adrenaline's, re001's, 595rs's if your car is your daily commuter. You'll spend 1200+ for a set of tyres and they'll be shagged after a year and you'll be buying new ones. Shit, if you spent 1200 on a set of tyres that lasted 3 years you could easily afford a dedicated set of track tyres and wheels with the savings..... I wont recommend a specific tyre as i run 595rs front and rt215 rear which i don't think are appropriate for either a commuter or a track car, they are too compromised for either. too soft for longevity and not soft enough for track. ok for an occasional weekender though.
  13. hi rick, I have a dump to suit a Garrett IW turbo but not a stock style turbo. Sorry Dave
  14. Hi mate. It's only an exhaust gear. No idea on brand. It has done the job for 3 years and hasn't slipped or caused problems in that time. 15. there are a couple of different pins. Simon is familiar with whats required as he runs a 32 ecu himself
  16. wow, no responses? try luis at driftgarage. They are in ingleburn. Good work, good prices, nice bloke.
  17. mine runs rough in the same situation. though in mine i put it down to section of the map thats never been tuned. It's just a rich miss and nothing to be overly concerned about. It's something tune related and i wouldn't expect it's a result of a service. I'm pretty sure unigroup will tell you the same thing but it doesn't hurt to have it looked at if you are concerned.
  18. stock front arms with nolathane bushes sold
  19. Quick update, I'll probably be repeating myself on a couple of items but i'm still receiving some requests. PFC sold, box, speedo drive and custom tailshaft as good as sold JJR arms sold Oil cooler sold GTSt indicators sold
