I Got a very similar thing with my New GReddy Profec and it tells me that its a filter. On my boost controller it Filters the Fuel Pressure to sence boost pressure for the Unit

i got some iridiums and i was told it was 1.1 so i just got them and put them in. Im interested in changing the gap to .8 but it said on the package do not change gap size. Or does it say that on all of them?

So do u reckon we could organise a group buy for some of these VTG's???

Is it true that the Copper plugs should be gapped at 0.8mm and the Iridiums at 1.1mm? Due to the fact that the Iridiums are a better conductor so the gap can be slightly larger?

i did mine myself, ive never changed a sparkplug in my life, it was piss easy took maybe an hour and a half. I got NGK Irridiums and i got them from Repco and for 6 they were $110. But i heard u get away with Copper ones they just need changing more often, but there only like a few bucks each

Im with Just Cars, im 22 rating 2 Full Comp on a '97 Gtst and it cost me $1260 excess is 1800 which is a bit of a s**t but cross fingers i dont have to use it.

I have the same black grill on my White S2 33, I reckon it looks heaps better. Loose the chromie!!!!

Also what is Headlight fluid??? I have never heard of it before, where do i check it??? What does it look like???

Could it have just been a freakish once off thing, or my mate who told me it was blue is just colour blind???

Guys i started the car this morning, so its been sitting there the same amount of time last night if not longer. And there wasnt a trace of blue smoke on start up, but just a bit of blackish smoke when i got my g/f to rev it up a bit

So what sort of price figures am i looking at to get this problem fixed? Is it costly $$$

U guys serious??? Will this happen on every start up??? How is this problem created??? This makes me really sad. ive only had the car for 3weeks now:(

This morning i started the car and a whole lot of blue smoke came out the exhaust pipe on takeoff???

Today i decided to change my spark plugs. First time ever i have done this. Ive only owend the skyline for 3weeks now and learning slowly. WOW spark plugs are easy to change!!! Im so proud of myself. Never will i let a mechanic change them and charge a fortune. So i decided to get the NGK Iridium plugs since ive heard ppl rave about them but there cirtainly not cheap but alot more economical than letting any mechanic change them. So heres what i pulled out, do many ppls spark plugs look like this when they pull them out??? And while i had everything off i decided to paint the rocker cover and sway bar...what do u guys think?

I posted this a few days ago Ive only just purchased my skyline about 2-3 weeks ago and i have noticed that when accelerating it seems to get more boost and accelerate quicker when i push the accerator to about 3/4 of the way in, and when i put my foot flat down i get less boost and slower acceration than at 3/4. Is this normal or is there an easy fix to this problem??? then someone replied I had the same sorta problem a while back when I first got my 33. Ran so much better at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle but ran like shite on full. Turned out my afm was shot. Maybe try swapping with someone to see if that fixes it. Is there a massive mid range flat spot that seems to clear about 6k? Thats what happened to me anyway... ran way too rich. This sounds exactly the same as my car. Do you think cleaning the AFM would fix this??? Or do AFM f**kup all the time and need replacing?

Mods Everythis is stock except for Pod Filter and 3" Exhaust Cat Back but has 2 mufflers. Boost Gauge is reading .75kg/cm2 which is about 10.5 PSI but that sounds rather High so im not 100% sure if its right, cus the cars not overly fast to my thinking

What sort of adaptor? I didnt need one for the alfa, What does it look like and how much $ and where?

I purchased a K&N Pod Filter for my '89 Alfa Romeo several months ago, would this be adequate to put on my '97 R33 GTST? Because i know that some air filters arent good for turbo cars like those cheap $30buck jobs, but this K&N one should be good yeah?

Yeah ill check the relays Nar i didnt leave the lights on, i drove it to work, drove home later that arvo, then it wouldnt start later that arvo when i had to go out. Weird. But i only got the car yesterday and before that been sitting in a showroom and before that on a boat coming from Jap, and driven it a little so the battery is prob f**ked

I just looked at the battery and theres no calcium build up, all electrics work and headlights work but there not as bright as if the car was on. Theres no black soot, but they prob washed it when it was in the showroom, and then washed it before i took delivery. I honestly couldnt tell you about the ECU...

Just picked it up yesterday, so no service as yet. Is there any problem jumpstarting R33 Batterys? I just presumed the backfireing could be due to it running ritch

It starts to crank but just doesnt have the power to really turn it fully over? Could it possible be a flat battery? The car has only just been imported so im presuming that since i got it, it hasnt been driven for a while? Could it be??? Just seems strange that it worked before. It has also has been stalling easyly when the car has been just started and been running ritch and backfireing when i drive it really hard, could this have anything to do with it?
