  1. yes i have one and its not bad at all, the hose clamps were quite good quality. Its not ubur expensive name brands quality but its ok. Now the issues i had with it, the front intake pipe interfears with the adjustment of the power steering pump so keep that in mind. Also i had a strange issue with the idle after this as i have my ACC valve removed, resulted in having to play with the tune in the idle load cells as the air columb would collape and push its way back out the AFM, which caused the engine to stall when idling. As mentioned we got around this with 2 changes, one to the idle load cells as mentioned and the other was to use a longer intake pipe which i had to do anyway to get the pod into the cold air intake i have on the car. But in saying that it is on and it works ok
  2. This basically turbo shuffle one compressor moving more air then the other. If one was to make 15psi and the other 10. The turbo producing 15psi would push the 10 psi back through the turbo it came from.
  3. gotta leave the whools on mate with that type. Good for doing alinements though
  4. try DP karts
  5. mate you need to look at the area where the spring is captured does it have a thread or circlip rings to lower the plate the spring sits in.
  6. I got over 500AWHP with JJR coils not a problem! Cant see why you would you pay so much extra when they seem to be fine, well so far anyway. Still thumping my old car around in the UAE touring car championship with the JJR G4 brakes for its second season with no issues apart for replacing the first set of rotors after almost 2000 track kms. Very happy so far. Any one know where the spitfires are made anyway?
  7. Worm better turn soon mate or i am gunna bar out the porker and race that. Not that it will matter to much anyway once that atomic blast orange hits the track aint going to be much that will be able to compete with it.
  8. yep holding up the gear box would you believe this bloody engine has been out 6 times in the last 4 months. I can have the bloody thing out in 3 hours by myself these days

  15. Far to embarassed to show my 900$ afternoon built trailer, still it only has to do a 12km round trip to the track so it does what it was made for. But now have another idea for new thread.
  16. Ohh god when do we need to start with after market cam cap bolts they are the only nissan thing left in my soon to be repaired engine.
  17. Mate it has to be a vacum leak your engine is getting unmetered air from somewhere which is not a good thing at all. Run your engine and get some airo start / WD 40 or something and spray it around the intake side of the engine when it increases rpm when you spray that should lead you to the vacum leak, worth a try at least.
  18. Rob why would you do that over a twin system for that amount of output. Just to change the manifolds, oil and water lines, exhaust, external waste gate going to cost a lot more than 2 replacement garrets or such. You could just bolt on some 2860-5, Power FC, adjustable cam gears, decent tune and you will make that number or get close with a stock engine. Then again i am sure you have your reasons and if you have the cash mate fill ya boots.
  19. + 1 very happy punter with BB old Teins, still not happy on missing out on BB's pepper grinder though thought i made a reasonable offer too.
  20. Yep BB very strange to say the least some thing has happen to let the spring drop and the shim to dislodge. Piston is still fine hardly even marked itso it must have only just been touching for a short while lucky i did 4 laps instead of 5 :-) Found a set of A's here mate but at a vastly inflated price as usual. Just waiting on new bottom end bolts (rods and mains). All parts cleaned and ready to go back together yet again. this engine has been in and out 6 times now and 6 is a lucky number for me.... well i hope it is:-)
