  1. sadly it was 8 weeks last time
  2. Doh, perfect fit! Just need a R33 to fit it too! VIVID SENT THE WRONG ONE JUST MY LUCK.
  3. new season, new buch of regs! http://www.dubaiautodrome.com/general/cont...798&sm=1056 Seems to be ok to me not to much bullsh%t and a welcome return to slicks. Will have to run against the 360 and GT3 cup cars though, but as the only skyline in the field i have the advantage :-)
  4. guys, not part of the group buy as i live in Dubai but my shaft just arrived so i will give you some feed back on the fit when i get around to it.
  5. the G4 can take a AP 6pot pad as i got some from from a guy in the BTCC. As far as i can tell they are a thing of beauty for the money got 2000 kms out of the last set of rotors and its a track only car. I was more than please as they lasted the same amount of kms as my mates RBA 5000 on my mates EVO track car
  6. Ta.
  7. Anyone know where to purchase new wiring looms? If such a beastie exsists that is.
  8. Hmm mine seems to work ok, when the rest of the car runs that is!! Its had lots of dyno time and it seems to hold ok on it
  9. this oil is recommended by porsche forums for the older air cooled engines. As far as i know it should be fine as i know of a few guys using it in some high po GTR's
  10. seems i do have a wiring problem a few wiggles of the loom near ecu and it running again grrrr
  11. Yep fuel pressure seems ok have a fuel pressure gauge on the car and it seems to work fine have 40 psi at idle and 58 psi at 1.1 bar boost and AFR is 11.4 at WOT. also have wide band. I checked spark by removing coils, earthing them and installing another set of plugs into the coils and turn the engine over. So it has spark of some sort. Have another set of coils off and old engine i brought and it seems to make no difference. Sprayed heaps of brake cleaner on the intake side looking for a vacum leak but after a half a can it didnt make any difference at all. very strange.
  12. between 150 and 153 off the top of my head, and the engine builder said the #5 cylinder was one of the higher readings. I cant think of any reason could it be weak spark? think i will check the connection on the ECU
  13. Hmm i have changed them and had injectors cleaned, even compression test across all pots etc etc. car pulls well on dyno just has a miss at idle think it might be a wiring issue
  14. Have a strange problem with the old car. It has a miss on #5 cylinder at and idle but appears to run fine when engine is loaded up. Any ideas?
  15. i believe that front and rear are different but i know that evos fit on the front
  16. No you will make that weight easy i had mine weight on a long acre scale set and was 1265 with the stock fuel tank although your cage is quite a bit more substancial than mine. What did you use t45 or moly? also forming the is quite easy you just need to get it to 100 degrees like a big pan of water to do the door windows then quickly clamp it to the original glass, let it cool and its done
  17. see if i can get the print out for you i didnt bother as it was late when we finished up.
  18. best upgrade for standard GTR ( well R32 at least ) is programable ECU, adjustable cam gears on standard cams ( 4 degrees retard on inlet 2 degrees advance on exhaust if i remember correctly )then tune lifting boost. Boost level will be dependent on the turbos the car has, not sure whats a safe level for R34 turbos? This is going to set you back over 2k though.
  19. richard, just did some dyno time last night and i have the same gear as you but forge internals now. I have a bit of porting done to the head and manifolds but shouldnt be a million miles away. with the 260 x 9.15 cams we made 470 hp at 1.35 bar boost and 330 odd ft/pd torque. We then advanced the inlet cam 2 degrees and retarded the exhaust 2 degrees. then made 465 hp but 386 ft/pd torque at 7500 at 1.35 bar. boosted a bit earlier as well, around 3800 for usable boost pressure. Worth a try.
  20. As close to the water outlet as possible. You can purchase a fitting that is installed into the top hose which the temp sender is screwed into
  21. that would lead to more problems i would think
  22. Yer goes with the rest of the car LOL you going to paint the car orange as well
  23. ^^^^ Opps wrong engine bay
