But with the 90 odd kgs i have removed in the last few weeks you really feel the difference in weight into and out of corners.
  7. i see Squeeky been sending some quiet pic's here and there by the sound of it LOL. I think it will be on HI octane web site soon. We had some issues with the gearbox on the weekend so it didnt show its true form, look out when it does.
  8. Grumble angry muttering Wish i had not started this thread now! Being an electrical engineer i hate wires and now you guys have told me i can get another 19 KGs out of the old shite heap if i cut most of it out. More louder angry muttering
  9. Cutting out wire scares the crap out of me......... still for 15kg its out with the side cutters..........and a soldering iron for when i F&%$ up :-)

  11. I did mine on a set of long acre corner scales maybe they were wrong i am not sure. it was done after our qualifying session and my mates EVO 7 came in at 1365kg Side pipe is done but i done understand Russ how your car is heavier than mine scales must be wrong here i think.
  12. Yes that all long gone. door windows winders motors etc are gone door trims too still need to take the hole saw to the door frames though. I do have a substancial cage in the car though so there would be 30 odd kgs in that. Looks like some gram light wheels and carbon fibre bonnet and boot are next
  13. Yes carbon fibre panels would have to be next. Is it possible to get them down to 1200kgs
  14. removed everything down to the sound proofing muck on the floor, 4w steer long gone, all unused brackets bolts heat shields. fuel tank when today and put a fuel cell in and that alone will be the best part of 15kg i think.

  19. LOL the son of rajab of brakes has spoken and its good advise
  20. Rhys, lots of options about i use G4 and find them very good or you could just refurbish your old brakes as they are getting on in years. New seals, pads and rotors and it should be a improvement.
  21. Will a R32 GTR alternator fit into a R34 GTR by chance?
  22. Just installed a extreme 1650kg clamp load single plate with alloy flywheel. Pedal feels like its just a fraction harder than the standard unit, although it judders a little on take off due to the button clutch plate but very happy with the performance.
  23. Yes restrictor has been removed for the line with the yellow band on it I will check on the wires tonight but but not to sure it would polarity sensitive being a coil still i will check and no i didnt have to solder any wires as the solinoid came with a plug that fitted the existing harness connected to the factory boost controller. Good thought though
  24. And if they are not pulled up straight against the block they could crack.
