  1. UPDATE! Got a text from one of the guys and it would appear that the boys are doing us proud! great chance for a top 5 finish....Bloody amazing
  2. LOL nope try Dubai which aint just next door either. Looks like the only difference is that you used the old original wiring and i did as per the pic above. Note looks like i might have had the Com and NO ports on the solinoid arse about, not sure what diff that will make but test tomorrow night.
  3. So original wires need to be used from old control valve. I thought the new control soliniod had its own wiring that was supplied with the kit, this loom was then pluged in with the MAP sensor into the power FC as shown in pauls DIY
  4. Birnie, Mate could you post the pics up again as my PFC controler is not allowing any increase in boost, always sits at .96 bar no matter what i adjust. Either have the wiring wrong or the piping wrong i think.
  5. Guys, its it just a matter of replacing the stock control valve with the apexi unit ? If so it aint working on mine.
  6. Guys, could anyone with the Apexi boost controller than is run with the PowerFC please post some pictures of how the solinoid is plumbed in. Cant get any more than .96 bar cboost which i think is the actuators controling that level of boost. regards
  7. Will get some pics it can out from around 10mm in from the outer shoulder of the tread pattern, very strange
  8. 245 x40 x18 on a 9" rim

  11. Russ, send me a link or such and i will post your 33 on the petrol heads forum here local interst in on the up i can tell you, never know who is lurcking on those things LOL. have a set of part worns AVON 240 x 640 x 18 in good shape and just about got my stick fingers on some 285's for you still a work in progress but hopeful. Yer just a new oil pump and bearings would you believe i must have caught it in time as they were still in reasonable shape. Oil pump was broken in two though! quick crank polish :-) and back together tomorrow night. Should last 2 more meeting until we get new engine done. Car was much better in the few runs i got in, the track was really slippery ( sand ) on those runs but better all the same aiming for next wednesday evening to give her a test run. And sadly yes Steve has created a bloody quick EVO here in fact about 100 of the bloody things, currently driving around in 560hp version he has built up for a client. Please have a word with him and tell him that bernard the bear is quite fast enough now :-). And congrat's on the bub! You will enjoy your time in Japan spent 4 months there with the soccer would cup in 2002. And thoughly enjoyed it. Fly the flag mate, fly it high and fly it proud.
  12. Hmm we pulled quite large bits out of the outer edge when they got hot ( 38 psi ) have you ever come across this ?
  13. Russ doing our best to convert Steve ( squeeky ) from AAT over from the dark side ( EVO ) to the skyline side. Tells me he is set for the Japan trip! Which has put my engine rebuild on the back burner until Jan. And if your looking for a few little things to hang on him ask him about Bernard bear :-)
  14. yep oil pump drive failure! But very lucky, no damage to the crank must have been circulating some oil at least. All the bearings were in good condition a light polish on # 1 big eng gernal and back in she goes. Not a nice job getting engine out for the first time with a pull type clutch
  15. it is strange that they dont use the F1 track ??
  16. 101,500 kms .95 bar garret 2860-5 stupid driver going from 5th to 2nd chasing even more stupid porsche at 240 odd kph big BIG mechanical over rev result no oil pressure / spun bearing or oil pump collar
  17. yer to many issue with swaping a r34 into a r32 going to use an engine from a R32.
  18. LOL i pulled it back from 5th to second by mistake from about 255kph. was well over 10k rpm showing And to the old girls credit she is still running with no oil pressure, not to mention it had over 100,000kms on the engine anyway. Thoughts were to remove this damaged engine and throw another stocky with the 2860 turbos in for the next race meeting while the damaged engine is at the rebuilders. i have about 2 weeks and not sure we can get the engine rebuilt in time, the builder has a few in front of me to complete.
  19. yes it had the crank coller from the oil pump drive, still not sure what happened. Have located 3 R32 engines with service history of about 45,000 kms for 2,500 so think i will start from there
  20. Ok lost the old girls engine today looks like a oil pump failure sadly Anyways what if any hang up are there with a rb 26 out of a R34 being relocated into my R32?
