  1. Yup ours is in FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic). And at the moment the DoLuck kit we have is only for GTR. Nope, sorry mate. Although we are trying to source one, but is proving difficult.
  2. I honestly didn't think it was possible, however I'm more than happy to be proven wrong. Although having said that one of our customers has seeked approval through his local authorities.
  3. Good price, these are around $270 brand new each. We use them on our Project car with Ergo II's
  4. From what I gather talking to various people the certificate doesn't even cover you with Queensland Transport, let alone any other state. It's a bit hit and miss, as the certificate only states they meet certain requirements, however it's not official as it's issued by themselves and I believe they do not have the authority to state that the product actually passes those requirements.
  5. For those of you who have roll cages, have you re-registered the car as a 2 seater or not bothered?
  6. We have the Do Luck kit for a GTR. Shouldn't take too much modification to fit onto a GTT.
  7. I highly doubt anyone in Australia sells Genuine DoLuck or Bomex, you will need to buy directly from overseas.
  8. FRP Hoods $499 + Shipping Carbon Hoods $749 + Shipping Shipping quotes can be calculated on our website by going to the product page and clicking on the "Shipping Quote" link
  9. We have tried numerous avenues to try and get some sort of authority to approve fibreglass or carbon panels but we haven't had any luck. And before someone says "Blits have ADR approved hoods", they DON'T. Not only is this claim false, they don't even have a certificate Queensland Transport is happy to sign off on. It's a marketing gimmick that seems to have done very well for them. I'll keep searching for any sort of documentation we can provide our customers with to help with the boys in blue, as I feel your pain.
  10. Sure did Just going back to the cage, would this be CAMS approved? I seem to remember CAMS only allows two bends in each corner bar for structural reasons? (Yes I can't be bothered looking at my CAMS manual)
  11. What I paid for it, $70 plus shipping.
  12. I would never run an oil pressure line into the car. From your wording it sounds like a mechanical gauge which is not only illegal to have inside a car, it's highly unsafe as the risk of a line or hose end coming loose, causing oil to spill and potentially start a fire or cause blindness. My suggestion would be to change over to electrical gauges with warning lights built in. Might be more expensive in the short term but worth it for the longevity of both you and your engine.
  13. I've never done it, but you need to take the seal out with the window or it becomes useless. I would never get generic window seals. Your best bet would be to buy replacement quarter windows with the seals attached. I have one that was left over on our Project car if you are struggling to find one, as getting them out cleanly with the seals in tact can be quite tricky.
  14. We have the 400R kit in stock for $799 plus shipping. www.psiparts.com.au PSI Parts
  15. Got the gear stick surround?
  16. What sort of certificate did they give you to prove ADR compliance?
  17. We have plenty of rear bars/pods in stock. Let me know the style you are after.
  18. We have some in stock and they are available to order from our website. http://www.psiparts.com.au/front.asp?pid=8...ID=R33S-TRNK-CF
  19. Having not much experience with RB30s, I did hear that they are probably not the best engine to rev out compared to a RB25. Anyone care to elaborate on this?
  20. I don't want to slurr anybody's name, however I don't like people being ripped off either. I would just investigate your first choice.
  21. I was talking more about independent testing, such as the Auto Speed ones (albeit dated now, they are a good comparison between OEM companies like VDO compared to flashy looking companies that aren't concerned with accuracy) Link 1: http://autospeed.com/cms/A_1008/article.html Link 2: http://www.autospeed.com/A_3032/hDg34uLtp_1/cms/article.html
  22. We have just got them in, and testing should be done this week. Hopefully have pictures up soon.
  23. We have vented FRP and Carbon bonnets for Series 1 R33. Also able to source after market flare/vented fenders if you want them.
