  1. I thought the pics I posted (post #1460) turned out pretty good for midnight purple (just had it resprayed). Personally I love the colour and when I get my new car its going to be a Midnight Purple III R34 GTR, although sadly this isn't happening any time soon.
  2. Yes, they have Snell M2005, ECE and DOT.
  3. Some of us have carbon fetishes though....
  4. I think you are referring to the Nismo R33 Proto GT-2500R There was an owner of this car on the forums, not sure if he has sold the car yet but there were some pictures floating around. I have them if nobody can provide the link.
  5. I heard today ALL interior trimming have been put on hold until further notice. I believe this has to do with manufacturing techniques not being available at the current time, although I hope that they fix the issue. The article is still on my to do list
  6. See http://www.sniper-racing.com/subcategory.php?id=39
  7. We have the full R32 GTR do luck kit in stock (although the front bar is slightly damaged so we can let it go a bit cheaper). Let me know if your interested.
  8. We have R34 bootlids in carbon, not sure what the difference in the sedan to coupe is though.
  9. We have some nice carbon ones
  10. I was under the impression that the only body option for the 40th anniversary was the GTR rear wing, does anyone have any more info on this "optional" front bar?
  11. I have a pair, in good condition and has the stock oil breather connectors. Send me a PM if your interested.
  12. Nice plates arthurde, (I have the same)
  13. The interior pieces were only available as part of a beta testing offer (of which we received very poor participation from members). I believe we don't have any left and thus will be removed from the website until they are available for retail sale.
  14. Midnight Express We are using this thread to display the progress to our demo car that will showcase new parts for R33's and various other RB parts. We welcome all comments and constructive criticism. The aim of this project car is to have achievable results that most people can do to their own vehicle. We believe that having a demo car that is so far away from a daily street registrable, although looks good, misses the point of a demo car. If there are any things you would like us to cover in this thread by all means let us know. This thread is replicated in a more formal way on our website, of which we will try to update as often as possible. Be aware that this car resides in NSW however our business is based in Melbourne. Occasionaly the car is transported to Melbourne for various events, otherwise can be see at various SAU NSW club meets and track days. The story thus far... We searched far and wide for a car that is common among tuners of today, that has a very reliable base to work with and also takes well to modifications. No real surprises here, we ended up looking for a clean Nissan Skyline R33. As there are many different models to choose from we decided on getting the somewhat rare 1998 40th Anniversary Model. These are often sold for more than a standard M Spec. The main attraction drawing us to this model was the lovely hues of the Midnight Purple duco and the factory options available to it. The 40th Anniversary editions had some differences over other models, those being: Standard Features Badge on the seat Badge on C pillar Uses NEO spec engine parts - CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) - Cams use different key Front & rear strut braces with Nissan logo Made in late months of 1997 or 1998 Limited Slip Differential Factory Options Additional colour codes - e.g. Midnight Purple Momo with airbag GTR Spoiler GTR Bodykit Satellite Navigation 6 CD Stacker We eventually found the car we were after and purchased it for the reasonable asking price of $15,700. This included the modifications required to meet ADR (Australian Design Rules). The car itself had a few extra goodies as well like; Tein HR Coilovers, SatNav, CD Stacker, Genuine GP Sports Front Bar and Side Skirts and a 3" HKS Exhaust. After taking possession in mid January 2007 came the lengthy and frustrating task of Registration in NSW. Now most cars are simple enough to register however many of you can probably sympathise with the difficulties faced by Import owners. Upon returning the car back to almost factory condition it was then sent to get a Blue Slip, Green Slip and a compulsory further inspection. Once this had all been done we are then required to go back to the RTA and fill out the remaining paperwork and get the cars plates. Now that all the legalities are taken care of it can be driven on the street and the planning process for modifications can begin. As with any high performance car it will need intuitive thinking along with a sound knowledge of both the cars characteristics and engine strengths to achieve a good result. As the car will be used mainly for street and circuit, with some show events and lmited strip time, this will greatly influence the path this vehicle takes. We will be documenting each modification step and provide feedback on any decisions that had to be made. Where possible we wish to provide a dyno sheet, non-bias judgement or technical report to evaluate the work we carried out. 15. It has: R33 Do Luck GTR to fit GTS Front Bar R33 Do Luck GTR to fit GTS Rear Bar R33 Do Luck GTS Side Skirts
  16. The whole idea of having after market gauges is to have accurate reading of engine vitals. It's my opinion that you cannot read the gauges easily from the drivers seat if they are placed in the dash like that, thus I would advise against it unless it's more for show. In regards to actually installing them, I would think it's a matter of getting a hole-saw and creating the correct size hole for the gauge and running the wires underneath the dash. Most stereo installers should be able to quote you if you feel you don't want to do it yourself.
  17. Here are a few quick happy snaps. A lot more to come.... Stay tuned for the new project log thread and website page!
  18. What are your thoughts on AutoGlym products? Maybe a comparison to Meguiars as these seem to be at the higher end of the DIY range.
  19. We have a large range of R33 bodykits. Email me ([email protected]) with what you are after and I'll try to provide pictures.
  20. After stereo surround/dash face-$80 complete with vents and buttons, and the cluster surround if you have it. Please send pics to [email protected]
  21. We have quite a lot of new stock coming soon. Email ([email protected]) us if you want further details.
  22. It really is quite easy to do yourself, and much cheaper. If you have car stands or access to a hoist for an hour you can do it quite easily. We can supply you with all the Teflon braided hosing and hose ends (See earls thread). Or alternatively if you give me the line lengths and desired connections we can make the lines for you.
  23. Have you looked at dry ice set-ups? As I figure you are after something different that has proven results.
  24. I was having a chat to my mate that other day who is a full time V8 Supercar driver and was discussing the idea of him jumping in our project car around eastern creek on an open day to see what sort of times he would be able to get (assuming they have no speed restrictions on any of the straights like sandown does). This could well be happening early next year, our car is nothing overly special, at just over 300rwkw (projected, waiting to get back on the dyno for a power run) in a street registered R33 GTSt it should be interesting.
