The $80k is US pricing, which is just shy of what you'd pay for an M5 up there. I suspect it will be about 120 - 140K here

Not sure how much fuel the S15 uses, but my 34 drinks like a fish. From 50L, i'd be lucky to get 400km even when driving like a granny. 300 - 350 ks is the norm, but i drive it pretty hard especially when the tank is full. Fuel is crazy expensive these days. Parts are also more expensive and harder to come by I've found. Then there's the more expensive insurance for an import. A Jap spec S15 would be hawt.. with a clean look and no spoiler.

Assume it'd be cheaper, no need for that wet sanding and the final doesn't need to be smooth.

I believe Nissan used VQ engines for the last year that the R34 competed in the JGTC, not sure tho. Also, i think the VQ3.5 is lighter than RB engines. Go a twin-turbo set-up from APS, would be an amazing car. Always wanted to do it as well, but would miss the sound of the RB.

GTR bar is designed to fit wider front fenders, correct me if i'm wrong but i believe the mounts are different as well, bonnet hinges and latch are different

Mate don't screw around with window tints.. Make sure it's LEGAL. I think it's 35% in NSW. I've heard it's one of the first thing insurers look at when investigating.

Isn't the whole point of adding carbon-fiber to the interior to add strength and save weight, using stick on stuff is just adding pointless weight. Hey, it might look cool but isn't this RICE?? Dude, i feel for you. I'm stuck using my mum's old Pintara as I try to get my car fixed.
