  1. I found mine on some malaysian cefiro forum. They don't come up that often so you have to look everywhere. I'll keep an eye out though
  2. Put the standard ECU in, get it checked over (defect cleared?) then put the microtech back in? Do cars in victoria regularly get checked for aftermarket management? Or is it really obvious (hand controller visible?) Was going to say with the mods you have the nistune would probably be a better option than the microtech. Sell the microtech should cover the costs of getting the nistune installed and tuned.
  3. Just to get an idea of how it works, is this what is happening with the oil feed?
  4. Yeah, was going to say buy the RB30E and rebuild the bottom end. Pull the RB25DET out, swap the head over onto the RB30 block, then drop it back in. No need to mess around with wiring then and less down time, just need to get it tuned.
  5. I'm still having issues with the search function not working. Also, the time says I posted 4hrs earlier.
  6. Mines in the driveway with a broken window reg on the drivers door. Got a multitude of parts sitting in boxes but no where near enough motivation to get the jack underneath the car. Also trying to save for a house deposit makes me consider things like selling the cefiro and getting a track only rig.
  7. The R32 ignitor and A31 ignitor are identical (both in pin arrangement and horizontal/vertical orientation) it is just the plastic casing of the plugs that is different. The ignitor wires go to the ECU, so I don't know how you'd go about fixing damaged wires there unless you replaced the complete engine loom (or stripped parts of your loom back and soldered on some new wiring). I'd consider converting to external coils with built in ignitors and running regular ignition leads. This way keeps all of your wiring loom and coils away from the engine heat.
  8. Front rotors and pads will fit R32/Z32/S14/15, rears will only fit S14/15
  9. Any progress? I have a similar problem. I set my coilovers to the same height yet 1 side sits higher, looks like it sits further out the guard, has 0deg camber and a couple mm toe out (as opposed to the other side a couple degs neg camber and slight toe in). Hopefully going to fix it all with adjustable arms, but makes me worried something like the cradle is bent. Can I ask what size tyres/wheels you have on the rear and how much guard work went into it?
  10. I'm running my standard RB20 turbo at 18psi, I'm sure the RB25 turbo will be fine.
  11. Also, atmospheric venting valves are usually designed to stay shut more than a plumb backs due to the problems associated with them opening at idle.
  12. Dump and front pipe should be able to fit R32 dump/front from what I've heard.
  13. But you can afford to run the risk of hundreds of dollars for fines and/or loosing your license for having an atmospheric venting valve?
  14. Depends which balancer you use. Personally I'd use the 25 balancer and accessories, then measure them up and order to suit. The part numbers usually represent number of ribs and length of belt.
  15. Limp mode is limited to 3krpm so won't be able to test the AFM like that. Better off swapping with someone temporarily and see if the problem moves to the other car or not. If they are coppers you might as well just replace them because it's cheap enough and the current ones could be stuffed. If they are iridiums/platinums you aren't supposed to gap them. Brake cleaner will leave residue on the AFM element, use electrical contact cleaner instead.
  16. If your wiring loom has round type plugs, you can use an R32 ignitor.
  17. Yes, laurel and cefiro floor pans are identical so it will fit.
  18. 4 door skylines have the same wheelbase as 2 doors. A31/C33 have a longer wheelbase (hence why you can't use skyline tailshafts). Could try an R31? Would have to see what their exhausts look like. A31/C33 catbacks are pretty straight, they only have 1 30deg set in them. (Not like skyline/silvia exhausts have multiple 90deg bends)
  19. Skyline exhausts don't fit because they are shorter wheelbase than the cefiros/laurels. Mine has a bracket right behind the rear bumper for the exhaust hanger. I'd suggest get rid of the cannon and get the pipes on.
  20. Try making a thread in the skyline section?
  21. Yeah I don't know where you live but I see alot of cefiro/laurel members have adelaide in their location
  22. It's probably the drivers control panel. See if someone local will let you borrow their working one for a couple minutes to swap it over and see if it fixes the problem.
