  1. I have 1 Autech front bar, has been exposed to a bit of drift. Still strucurally sound. If you are going for a more clean look it would fix up nice with one of those DIY fibreglass kits and some paint. Also have factory front bar in pearl white. Looks like the previous owner has scrubbed a pole in the car park, paint is a little chipped on the corner. Includes front bar indicators and side turning lamps. $50 for the autech front bar, $30 for the stock bar. R32 Skyline bar - $75 - SOLD Located in Brisbane. Cheers, Luke
  2. I have an Aircon compressor off an R32 GTST, Not sure what year but it's the zexcel brand compressor (not the calsonic brand). Also in brisbane
  3. You have PM
  4. I have forsale, 1 aircon compressor, the zexel brand, off an R32. It comes complete with clutch and pulley. I'm located in Brisbane, willing to post. Looking for offers around $150. Contact via PM please. Cheers, luke I also have a heap of aircon lines and the aircon heat exchanger/radiator. If anyone is interested just say so and I'll figure out some prices.
  5. I managed to get my intercooler behind my autech front bar with no chopping of the bumper or the bumper reinforcement. Off the top of my head, the measurements were 600*300*68 (maybe 60 or 70). I had to move the horn bracket, and bend the aircon reciever bracket to make a little more room in there. I don't have a fan mounted on my aircon heatexchanger though, I don't know if it will fit now the intercooler is there. I'll try get some photos.
  6. I already have the intake to the turbo. I'm missing the pipe from the turbo (hot pipe), and I think i have the pipe to the crossover pipe, but I'm missing hose joiners for both.
  7. People, I'm chasing some factory piping and joiners for my RB20DET. I already have the factory intercooler, and the intercooler pipes, but I'm missing the pipes in the engine bay (i have the crossover pipe with the BOV on it). Please let me know if you have some/all of this piping. Cheers, luke
  8. Willing to spilt the front pipe from the rest of the exhaust?
  9. I'm after some standard intake piping and a couple of the rubber pipe joiners....
  10. Yes, please tell us what tailshaft you used. I asked about my tailshaft on another forum and have been told that I shouldn't worry about the spline not engaging the last 10mm that it is designed that way so it can slide in and out as the engine/gearbox moves around. He makes a good point, if it was supposed to be flush up against the gearbox it would be a hub face with bolts to attach it to the gearbox (like the other end of the shaft is attached to the diff).
  11. Well AFAIK, the only other option is a manual A31 tailshaft (might be hard to find) or a new custom made tailshaft ($$$). If you want, I can run through the whole process with photos. EDIT: Well, I just fitted my R32/A31 hybrid tailshaft. And it looks like it's too short. It bolts up to the diff, and to the underbody, and the spline goes into the gearbox, but it appears that the spline needs to go into the gearbox another 10-20mm. I'm stumped, what does everyone else do when they do an auto to manual conversion?
  12. You have an A31 auto tailshaft, right? I don't know whether or not you have an R32 manual tailshaft (but they are easy enough to get). The tailshaft is basically 2 pieces bolted together. The R32 shaft fits into your gearbox, buts it's not long enough to bolt onto the diff. And the A31 shaft is the right length but it doesn't fit in your gearbox. So you unbolt them both in the center (4 bolts), and make a hybrid tailshaft. But they don't swap over because the mounting hubs are different. So there is a nut holding the mounting hub onto the tailshaft, you undo the nut (there is an indent in it to prevent removal, reshape with a good flathead screwdriver), and give the mounting hub a few good whacks with a hammer (it is splined onto the tailshaft). The mounting hubs can be swapped between the tailshafts, enabling you to swap the other half of the tailshaft. You end up with a tailshaft that fits into your manual gearbox and is the right length to bolt up to the diff. It took me about 30mins to pull apart both tailshafts and reassemble 1.
  13. I'm halfway through conversion on mine cefiro. I took the R32 manual tailshaft, and my A31 auto. Pulled them both apart in the middle, then you have to remove the nut and bash the hub thing off the spline. Then you swap the little hub things onto the opposite tailshafts, so that the R32 front half will bolt onto the rear of the A31 tailshaft. I'm about to install it in my car in a couple hours I'll let you know how it goes
  14. AFAIK, zenki and kouki is early and late model? I have noticed that the automatic center console changed shapes between early and late models, all the manual consoles I've seen look the same style as the early autos, but I can't be certain I've seen a late model factory manual. Anyone else noticed this? Also, I've noticed a different style of instrument cluster (different font for the numbers). Not sure whether this is a early/late difference or a badge difference (ie cheap model versus expensive upper model).
  15. I'm pretty sure I have one from my 32 front cut, I'll check whether it's calsonic or zexel. PM me if you are interested. I can do better than $295 delivered
  16. If the AFM isn't connected then the car will start in limp home mode. It works completely fine til about 2500rpm, where it hits a rev limiter.
  17. My query was genuine, and I do have a cracked indicator lens, but I can't afford a 3 figure Dollar value.
  18. $0.05 So whats the difference between series 1 and series 2 indicators?
  19. I've read the negative boost article and it makes a good point. They measured vacuum before and after the AFM and there was a fair difference, which became a smaller difference with the mesh removed. The manometer doesn't lie. If there is gains to be had, it would probably only be had if you retuned the ECU to suit it. Next time someone gets their car dyno tuned, try with and without mesh see if it makes a difference.
  20. Don't NSW offer something like American style number plates that fit in the bumper without modification?
  21. Hey guys, I have for sale 1 black R32 M-Spec front bumper. It came off my half cut which I used for engine transplant. The bumper hasn't been hacked up to fit a frount mount and still has the lower grilles. There is some slight scuff marks on the lower part of the bumper but no physical damage to the bumper itself. I'm looking for around $150 but am negotiable on price. Item is located in Brisbane. I would prefer pickup/dropoff but I'll organise postage at your cost if you are keen. I also have a dashboard, lower dash surround pieces, instrument cluster, steering surrounds, complete column with key and barrel, the aircon/heater box, aircon lines, heat exchanger thermo fan, coolant overflow tank, window washer bottle, wipers, wiper motor. Few other bits and pieces too all from the R32 halfcut. I don't really know what to ask for price but if you are interested in a part PM me and I'll try to figure out how much it is worth. 22. Cefiro RB20DET brakes are the equivalent of silvia SR brakes aren't they?
  23. About 2 weeks ago there was some rear cefiro seats going on ebay for $1.....
  24. Cheers guys, we'll see how I go.
  25. Doing an engine transplant, RB20DET manual from a 32 skyline into my RB20E auto cefiro. Are the wiring looms pretty much the same or will i have to get some new plugs made up and swap some wires around? Any other tips/hints with the wiring appreciated. Cheers
