    Has anyone had any luck tracking down a set of the factory driving lights and installing them? They are listed on japanparts.com as a whole kit but the price is approx $2300AUD.

    I think he means the smoking/tinting of the head and tail lights... when you think about it, it's a pretty silly idea. Also, there is no need to tint your mirrors. No one is looking into your mirrors except you, and it's going to be hard enough to see them through the 20% tinting on your windows.

    I had a look at my headlights today and lucky me they didn't cut the plugs off for the ballast or the bulb holder. So I just need a pair of D2R bulbs. I ordered a pair of philips bulbs from www.oembulbs.com Can't wait to finally have some proper HIDs

    I have received rego stickers before, it's definitely not there. Agree with parag0n, I had to go in the other week to change my address... I hate going in there.

    Last week saw a Silver coupe going down the M1. The other day a silver sedan twice (the same one) going to and from work.

    Hey, I bought a V35 a couple weeks ago on the 14th Jan. I am the first registered owner in Australia. Today (29th) the registration certificate arrived in the mail, but there is no sticker label for the windscreen. I'd go around to dept of transport but it's already past 5pm and being a Friday I won't get there til monday arvo. Has anyone else had something like this?

    Another one for broken cable where it plugs into the back of the cluster. The tip of the cable is plastic (fragile) so you have to be careful reinstalling the cluster (thats when mine broke).

    Passenger window started playing up after a day in the sun, but I'd only picked the car up the day before so not sure how reliable it was before.

    The skyline/cefiro/laurel rear brakes have disc brakes with an internal drum (handbrake). The S13/14/15 have regular disc brakes with cable operation on the calipers for the handbrake. The difference is the size and shape of the caliper has to be different to accommodate the change in shape of the rotors. If the caliper is a different size/shape then obviously the pads will be different too.

    Chris, The day after I picked my car up, the passenger window dragged/bounced when I wound it down and it hasn't been operating correctly since. Then yesterday the drivers window was playing up (when you close the door and it auto winds up against the door seal, it would wind down again). The dealership gave me your card (for the audio conversion stuff). Do you offer services replacing the window motors?

    Just did my first tank of fuel. Did two trips from Brisbane to Burleigh heads (about 350-400km total) and the rest was regular town driving but that included a fair bit of heavy foot driving seeing what the car has got. So this arvo at pump I put in 57 litres, and I had done over 550km's since the last time it was filled. 10.3 litres/100km

    It would more likely be that holding it down for 10seconds is not a permanent disable, but that it doesn't turn back on every time you turn the engine off/on. I turned mine off this arvo for a minute, it did feel a little bit powerful but I've only owned the car for a couple days so could maybe be a placebo effect.

    I hope I'm not insulting your intelligence here, but did you make sure to spread the pistons in the caliper with one of those tools? Otherwise, I'd say GTS (non turbo) skylines sound like the correct pad considering they have drum brakes.

    But it's been sitting around for years so it may as well be a fresh motor in terms of priming the oil pump.

    A31 wiring should be pretty much identical to S13. I would doubt that it would be the same as S15. If your cefiro has regular aircon (it doesn't have auto function, and the temp slider says cold-hot) it is going to be very difficult to convert it to climate control.

    Did you try putting the strut brace on the other way, so the bar would be on the other side of the struts? Also, what is your location?
