  1. Hi, I have an R32 GTS4. I have noticed for some time a clicking noise from the boot of my car. When I hear the clicking noise the volts in my car drop for a second. At idel the clicking happens every minute or so. I have followed the noise to the boot and have found a relay just to the passenger side of the lock (monuted behind some of the grey trim between the lcok and the passenger side tail light). What is this relay for? Can I get rid of it? Thanks, Ben.
  2. Hi all, I have looked in the Nissan engine manual and the DIY section here. The most relevant thread from the DIY section was this one. The engine manual suggests that the timing light should be attached to the No. 1 cylinder primary line; which is accessable with the covers etc. on. I can't tell from the picture what is being referred to. Is anyone able to help me identify the No. 1 cylinder primary line. I have attached the picture from the manual and a picture from my engine bay for reference. Thanks, Ben.
  3. I relise that this thread is super old; but it saves me starting a new one. I have a question regarding using the information from the Consult port to set the timing. How does the car know how advanced or retarded the ignition timing is? Is there a sensor on the crank as well as the sensor on the cam? I guess my question is; can I set the base timing of the car using information from the consult port as opposed to using a timing gun? Why? Thanks, Ben.
  4. dori34; I have contacted topstage via email, thank you. r32.4fourdoor; I would like to keep the R32 look; thanks for the reply anyhow.
  5. Hi, I have an Ultra Speed Monitor 4010 that was in my car when I bought it. I have found some general information on the device on Japanese sites (Japanese website), but nothing on how to use it. Does anyone have one of these; how do I do things like turn off the beeping and set the rev warning light? Thanks, Ben

  14. These have been given away, thank you to everyone who offered to take them off my hands.
  15. Also, I have a pretty new belt to go with the other stuff. Thanks, Ben.
  16. Here are some prictures of the compressor. You will notice that it is a little dirty, I left it this way so that I can show that it doesn't leak etc.
  17. Good morning, I have some castor rods from an R32 GTSt. These have the original bushes in them that look a little worn. These are free to anyone who wants them, though I would prefer that you collect them as posting will take up some of my precious time. Note that caster rods from R32 GTSt are different from R32 GTR. Thanks, Ben.
  18. Weezy, I could send them (do you sense my initial reluctance). Which particular hoses are you interested in; the ones going to the firwall? If they are the hard hoses I would need to source a pretty long box so as not to bend them. Do you have a picture from FAST or part numbers for the bits that you need (that would make it easiest for me to figure out what you want).
  19. Price drop Electronic cooling fan $0 Air conditioning radiator $0 Air conditioning compressor $100
  20. Hi guys, do you have pics of your new thermo fans installed yet; I am keen to see how they turn out. Thanks, Ben.
  21. For anyone who is interested in this topic; the non abs pipe that runs from the master cylinder to the passenger-side wheel arch is Nissan part number 4624201U10 and costs $33.78 including GST. I don't have the price and part number for the other two, but I understand that they are between $25 and $30 each.
