  1. If the R34 and VG30 have the same exhaust housing does this mean they will perform much the same? I have a VG30 on my RB20DET and wanted to go to something less laggy. I am ready to buy a R34GTt turbo, though it is clearly not worth my while if there is no difference between the two. Your thoughts?

  4. What condition are the tyres in?
  5. I don't know anyone good but I do know that Tint-a-car (Solace) at Fivedock is terrivble. They did a poor job with the tint leaving large bubbles and cutting my window seals with a knife. They replaced the seals, took tint off and gave me my money back - but not before scratching my car in three places in the process. Please don't go there - it is a mistake!

  8. Hi guys, thanks for your responses. I have looked at it a bit further and it seems that the washer bit clips (not quite the word but kinda close to what I mean), into something close to the tie rod end. As one side of the washer is covered in rubber I am assuming that it is to prevent damage to the steering rack at full lock. Thanks, Ben

  10. Hi guys, I wonder if either of you can help. I am changing the power steering boots on my R32 GTS4. To start from the start... I have removed the steering rack from my tie rod end and have removed the steering boots from the tie rod. On the steering rack end of the tie rod there is a ball housing which is then connected to the steering rod. Between the ball housing and the steering rack there is a large washer with a rubber ring on the inside of it. It seems to be drifting on the stering rod between the ball joint and the steering rack. Should this be drifting around or do I have a problem? Thanks.

  16. Hi guys, What prices have you paid for new rubber and braided lines? I was thinking of taking mine off and having Pirtek put new rubber onto the stock end pieces. Don't know what this would cost either.
  17. Do you have the cable that you used - I assume you won't be needing it?
  18. Is the Nismo sticker 1 piece or three seperate trips for each colour? Does the sticker stretch the length of the car or are they in shorter pieces?
  19. This may seem silly. What is the difference in profile between 50 / 55 / etc? Does a bigger number mean that the verticle height of the tyre is higher? Does a smaller number mean that the overall diameter of the tyre is smaller?
  20. Were the rims sprayed professionally or at home with cans?
