  1. Wow Fletch; I never would have thoughts of that. Did you try it before you had that done, I assume that it didn't acocomodate the 10mm disc with-out doing it, but I guess I am still hopeful that I could use a 22-25mm disc with-out doing that.
  2. Thanks for all of the advice Craig! I will post up my trials and tribulations once I do this work to try to help any other novices that go down this route.
  3. Hi, I have an ABS module for sale. It is in perfect condition. I will be removing it from my car very shortly which would give a local buyer an opportunity to check for leaks and test it before buying. The ABS module is $150 excluding delivery.
  4. Still for sale - here are some pictures.
  5. Thanks for the information guys. Davexr8 - I will definitely look into that product to fix another issue with another one of my cars. cthawes - where do you get cerium oxide from?
  6. Hi, I have some scratches in my windscreen from a windscreen wiper which broke - the metal on the windscreen wiper arm scratched my windscreen. I would prefer to fix this at home. Do I use normal paint polish or can you buy glass polish?
  7. Is it from a RWD or 4WD R32
  8. Hi, I want to use the four piston Sumitumo callipers from an R32GTSt in a brake conversion that I am planning. I am thinking of using a 25mm rotor as it fits the stud pattern on the car a little better. Does it matter how thick your disc is so long as the pistons in your calliper will reach the disc? I understand that heat soak with a thinner rotor is a potential issue . I am more interested in whether or not a R32GTSt calliper will clamp a 25mm wide rotor. I assume that it will as an R32GTSt is undersize after 28mm which is quite close to 25mm; actually it would probably need to be able to clamp a 22mm rotor (the width of a worn 25mm rotor). If you take out your brake rotor and push down on you brake pedal (against nothing) will the pistons in you calliper pop out? Any help would be great!
  9. Got a quote for a tow truck - they want $250 (half the price of the car). Any help on something cheaper would be greatly appreciated. I am a little surrised at the cost as it cost me only $110 a day to hire a 3-tonne truck with a lifter to move house!
  10. New proposition. I have moved to Camden and now want to move a car from Wollongong. I have checked Camden Hire and Kennards hire who want $120 which is a little expensive considering that the car costs $500. I haven't check with a toie, though I imagine that it will be more than $120 (will still check for good measure). Does anyone know of a place in Campvelltown / Camden? Thanks, Ben.
  11. Cool. Hey, what does IMHO mean?
  12. Hi Ghostrider; I think you misunderstood me. What I was thinking is that if you bought the original units you could copy them yourself or pay someone like a fibreglass kit place to copy them for you. You could then go on to sell them for say half the price. Depending on what they cost to copy you could probably cover the cost of the initial purchase ($450-odd) and the cost of replicating them. Come to think about it, if all four that you are buying are the same you could buy just one ($150'ish) and have thay one copied four times making it cheaper for you. Then any more that you have copied and sold would be profit. I don't care about how much they are costing you etc. and hope that you don't get upset. I do reckon that this is a way to get you want you want for cheaper and make similar units available to others who think that what you are doing is flash (assuming that you don't mind other people having the same kit as you!)
  13. That is cool. How did you find out about it? Where was it at?
  14. Hi guys, I assume that these are plastic. Would there be a problem if they were made from fibreglass? They look easy to copy and would cost nowhere near $450+.
  15. I was looking at it - but Maruya is sooooo far away from Sydney!
  16. This is why I love SAU! Thanks guys.
  17. Hi there, I have a car trailor with a limited track width (it was made to carry Austin Healy Sprites). Does anyone know the track width of a C110 and a C210 with stock rims and tyres? Thanks, Ben.
  18. Hi there, the stereo has an aux in and jacks for front and rear output. I have attached some more pictures including a picture of the rear of the unit and a picture of the wiring diagram from the installation manual that will be included.
  19. I have a stock steering wheel from an R32 GTSt for sale. It is located in Sydney. The wheel is in fairly good condition but does have some small dents (best I can describe them ) round the wheel bit. I am after $10 pick up (the $10 will be donated to SAU). Will post at buyer's expense - picture to be posted tonight. Thanks, Ben.
  20. Hi, I am selling a Sony WX-C570 Stereo / CD / Tape player - TAPE PLAYER DOES NOT WORK Good sounding unit with all of the usual features including 2x RCA and Bus In. The best feature of this unit is it's looks - with the use of a 'frame' around the stereo (plastic rectangle in the pics below) it sits absolutely flush to the Climate Controller in the centre console looking very unassuming. I am selling it as I have just installed a single din triple guage holder in my R32 which means that there is not enough room for this now. Comes with: Stereo itself Plastic frame Unused harness (I had two for some reason) I am moving house and would like to get rid of it before I go. I am after $30. The unit is in Marrickville (Sydney) but will post. Thanks, Ben.
  21. Hi there; where abouts are you located?

  23. I'll give you $100 for the 17 inch wheels pick up
