later in the day used on the track as well.
we just laughed that he arrived at the start of the day with harness and gloves on.
oh and had plugged in the seat belt in and then sat on it with the harness on so the light did not blink the whole way up..
you often use your harness instead of a working and (in the cops eyes) legal seatbelt for a cruise up the Hume?
Fully agree on the track, but not for driving to the track...
that's just for the drive there right?
remember one of my mates turning up to winton in his R32 GTR
factory seats and everything, but arrived with full harness on and race gloves on..
3 years later and still not lived it down.
how is having Lenso 20" and NEXEN rubber a sales point?
Also love how nearly every car is a lady driver, but with a male name selling it

got my eye on a few of these.
should be a fun year with some new ideas and new tracks.
pity no haunted hills tho, might have to do a side trip for one or 2.
so few few MS events announced.
PI on 8th is first up..
plus a new deca type event....mmmmm...been looking forward to this for a bit.
few more surprises later in year
assumed that but thought would clarify.
when I used the GPS jsut on the phone times were more than a sec out from lap times, the external GPS as mentioned brought it down to sub .1 so I'm happy for the time being.
don;t use the gpn on the phone,
I use an external 10Hz GPS reciver liked to racechrono on android.
the lap times are withing .1 of a second of the track ones, (think it more due to the start stop line in racechrono is not the same as the beam they use for our track days)
so think the results are fairly accurate.
I find I use much more at winton as you get so much more track time.
plus sandown as you have the throttler open so long each lap.
PI you only get 3-4 sessions normally so not as bad,
calder you get bored after 2 sessions and go home
