  1. to be honest I have no idea. ATM all I have been told is a panel from the bathurst Norton cars signed by the drivers. they were waiting for after the race to see which ones they could use. and I haven't been in the office since the race. it's to be one of the give aways at the dinner, plus something else for the merchandise packs. after we move I am thinking of grabbing one of the bonnets to chuck on the shed wall. have to wait and see how much space first tho.
  2. it's a give away for SAUnats actually. i be out of space for anything at home.
  3. Panel off genuine Nismo Race car signed by drivers...delivered to my desk...all for free....booyaa should be an entertaining return to work
  4. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/Private/details.aspx?R=sse-ad-2350688&ctocode=32723557-{campaignid}&WT.z_csource=Criteo&WT.seg_4=Criteo just wow
  5. this surprises me, When I was in Brazil I checked out some stuff, (mainly electronics) and everything was much higher than AU prices. Locals I talked to said massive taxes on anything not built in Brazil??
  6. must be getting time to come home me thinks
  7. If we getting on this topic. if you have an amp and/or sub box in the car, it must be bolted down to metal as well. self tapping into the back of your fold down seat in a 180/300 is not going to cut it. if you take your amp out, don't let the positive cable sit there with no fuse against the metal work, (and I cannot believe I have to tell some-one that) yes your battery is not in the cabin with you, it still needs to be bolted down. to save us the hassle, take the damn macca's/bottles of water out of the back seat b4 you get your car checked. when you get you car checked, your attire is as well, have your long sleeve top and pants on, and have your helmet. don;t turn up in your shorts and thongs saying your getting changed later. take spare Tyre out, no-one wants it and no-one will steal it. have all your wheel nuts on and tight...really why do I have to say that?? oh and have fun. and don't laugh at my car..
  8. AU 350-500, buy from america 250 + postage.
  9. ok domestic don;t have power, but all tables have power that lasts more than a flight. International, Qantas in all 380's and most 747 have power in cattle class. and I don't get business class very often. over 8 hour flights Premium under 8hr cattle. Unless airline is feeling nice..
  10. so flights eh... you want noise canncelling and not use very often get the Sony Noise cancelling, they are quite good for the $$. mine were 60ish ir do it properly Bose QC15 or what I got Sennheiser PXC450 http://en-au.sennheiser.com/high-end-headphones-audiophile-stereo-pxc-450 nothing comes close for noise cancelling and comfort as if you going to waer them 15+ hours on one flight that is very important, also good for working in data centres. regarding what to bring on the plane, table is the best these days, has games, I have 100's of hours of video plus 6000ish books to choose from and is lighter than carrying one book. plus most decent airlines now have power in the seat so you sorted. but then what would I know.
  11. you added soda and cordial.....your just lucky Hamish has not spotted this.. and matini's done right are awesome.

  14. show and shine is in feb, 15th I think, Como park booked out till then. for the S14 cracked it and went straight to Coil overs. Had white line in the BB b4 it and they were bearable, pretty stiff and sagged a bit but was mainly looking for drop so that was fine. Kings in the ute (well the front) and they seem quite nice to daily drive on. way too soft for track tho.
  15. Progressive Tiens suck balls, had them in the s14 to start with, crashed though all the bumps on the street, then got all rolly on the track, worst of both worlds.
  16. Make/year: 2003 BA XR6 UTE Market value : SFA Price per tank: $100+ Ks per tank: 600-700 So I do under 5000 km per year with my work travel, so more worried about towing capacity than anything else. bang for my buck, i'm happy

  20. well the full story. there was a cannonball run in AU between Darwina nd perth. there were a number of check points along the way. SO rules were you had to slow down to around 100 for the check points and towns and full throttle in between, this guy came into the checkpoint at about 250ish..and lost it, race cancelled, ppl died.. Ham what a cheap paint job did not even do the door jams
  21. I did my response to issue's CAT at high school on that ferrari crash... just so I had a excuse to use the A3 printer to print out pics of ferrari's
  22. Kunts.... http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/law-order/victoria-police-adjusts-mobile-speed-camera-rules-to-allow-cameras-to-be-concealed/story-fni0fee2-1226739895665?link=news.com
  23. your changing to a different motor, you will need eng cert, go to vicroads have them inspect the car, prob have to change brakes and some other things, and yeah if a cop who knows anything about imports pulls you over you are screwed anyhow. just pick up a cheap pulsar tpo last till off P's easier, cheaper and gives you time to build up your car properly.
  24. are these spares for HSV's to clear brakes or something? I'm really not seeing the point??
