  1. If you want to use on the move get a 13 inch ultra book Personally I'm looking to move to a Samsung ultra book myself If you need more power/ screen than an ultra book at home get a tablet and a home system separate And no idea why ppl think I travel much!!!!!

  6. I'm hoping to be back out for the Nov one..so looking forward to it.
  7. yes they put you in groups. they will ask for any experience when you say none they will look at the car and pick a group. Auto Stag will be in one of the slowest ones. then if you are too fast they will reclassify you during the day. there is normally around 20ish ppl per group you get a run approx every hour for 12-15 min, (which is all a car with stock cooling can handle anyhow) so that 6ish laps. you can have a passenger at any point in the day, so if there some-one you know who has experience throw them in the passenger seat for some advice. same clothing as deca, long sleeves and helmet, leather shoes, the License you got for deca will work for there as well. Timing is included, appears on a screen in the pits and is updated to natsoft online so you can check lap times later on. Bar doing something like a driver dynamics day it's the easiest entry to a track day and the cheapest way..unless you break something! oh and the melbourne cup Tampered day is going to be part of the MS championship.
  8. I've done enough what questions do you have?
  9. nah been having probs al day. been trying to workout the MS calendar for 2nd half of year and no luck with their calendar

  11. I'm in perth October, meant to be just a short layover but now my sis is meant to have her first that week might extend.
  12. Think of it this way..do you want air pockets in your brake lines? some fluids are very im-compressible so yes the pressure change would be near instant. something more compressible ie air, it's going to take more to impact it, your going to have to change the pressure of a much greater volume so I would expect lag to increase. plus same goes with zorst gases getting to turbo they have to travel more distance.
  13. define dangerous, been to Rio and Johannesburg and could not see it being anywhere as bad as those.
  14. I was just talking to Katie yesterday about where we should go for a short break yesterday. Fiji is great but been there a few times now. Koh Samui in Thailand would be interesting and nice and cheap. but after hitting up Philippines last year we might do other islands there, as cheap as Thailand, but without being as touristy/pushy. that said, never tried Hawaii so that could be a go. not sure where else, idealy cheap, must have good diving spots
  15. I loath Vietnam had such a bad run there. try somehting new Boracay in the Philippine's is interesting. Fiji always better than bali or if you jsut looking to get drunk/stoned and chase chicks try: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vang_Vieng
  16. SO had dealing with Osaka imports today. only ppl in melb that seemed to answer phone/email and had a S14 door. give them a call to see if they have one in the morning, didn't have one with the bits I needed (window, regulator blah blah) but agreed to grab the parts off other bits to get me a complete working door. rock up 2 hours later they have the work done door sitting out the front and load it into the ute for me. seriously in and out in a couple minutes. why cannot more places work this well.
  17. nah it the new naming convention, it's based on how much of an average CEO's base salary is needed to purchase a specific car.
  18. BMW....more than you can afford mate. but yeah if it for the M3/4 doubt they care about cost.
  19. well technically a supercharger is something fed off the crank. so it neither really. just an electric fan giving the system slight pressure. in my books they have missed a great naming operturniy here. they could ahve gone with megacharger protoncharger supermegaawsome elctro boost system http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/bmw-files-patent-for-electric-powered-turbocharger-tri-turbo-m3-still-a-possibility-ar119350.html
  20. well that one judging from the quality to get enough speed to actually cause benefit I think would blow apart. however this is the technology that BMW is moving to for the next M3, triple turbo, 2 normal and one "electric" turbo so instead of zorst gases spinning the turbo an electric motor does to remove turbo lag.
  21. actually they give you a bottle and a paper cup. Didn't find a fast food place that did tap beer.
  22. no but they do have beer....
  23. trying to find a door this week. Going to start straightening the Front end this weekend. Going to do the Nov deca...so gotta get moving.
