  5. generally not, as ppl coming from everywhere, some towing some driving more often come back as a "group" stop at maccas or similar. i'm planning on coming up and spectating a bit during the day and getting some pics in.

  7. true 5-6K starting, but that nearer 2000 not 80's plus low km. personally of the low I would be going for a 2Door Patrol best of the lot and soo many parts for them that said a FJ70 is a great car, but they all have 250K+ km now
  8. this is making me want to do a weekend down in Tas
  9. defenders are pretty reliable as there sfa to them, a very simple car and the engine been aroundsince the dark ages. a disco on the other hand, lots of electrics to go wrong (where Landrover is known for issues) another option no-one mentioned yet and a little out of left field Jeep Wrangler. Convertible cool at that..
  10. bit more honest, Landrover defender
  11. suzuki X90

  20. yes but he got towed from GOR as well, so my comment still stands.
  21. well if you spun a bearing...you would ahve to change the oil after that..taking the engine out to change oil was probally a little much, and being too lazy to put engine back in as it fell down the back of the couch... so yeah oil change it is
  22. I've been going to these for 6ish years, can count on one hand the number of times some-one has had to get a tow truck. more likly to bin it on the GOR than at deca..
  23. they more a GT than a sports car, too heavy on the track. not that you cannot spend heaps and make one work on a track, but yeah more suited to freeway use than track
