  2. ok looks like enough interest plus the interstate guys might be in as well. for those of you on the competitor meet, we will depart 7am drive to benalla and head into town to fill up. the 2 places for 98 are the BP and shell they are a couple hundred meters apart on same road so you can pick which you want. once fueled we will head out of town and get to the track approx 8am, time to unload, go through scrut and drivers briefing. then the fun begins....
  3. for any-one interested in getting over to winton who is not sure of the drive. thinking of meeting in the bunnings car park in shepp sat morning 6:45 for a drive at 7 to benalla, refuel in town then out o the circuit. let me know if interested, else will just make my own way over! M

  7. i'm really hoping to crack 60 this time out!!
  8. ok so that's not the best pic I've seen, but it kinda looks like the positive is hooked up to something touching the chassis, ie the earth/negative side. so they need to be reversed. or I just could be looking at that completely wrong..or drunk!
  9. I did direct debit just to be sure on that

  17. So this is the day after the Nats which also counts as round 6. So if you miss a slot, or if you cannot race the Sat this is your chance, (however is same day as show and shine) I will be entering the nats and wrx so might see you there Entry https://secure1.ilisys.com.au/wrxc/motorsports/MotorsportsEntrytemp.php Sub Regs TBA Entry list TBA Requirements CAMS L2S CAMS club membership with current date (SAU VIC Membership) Fire Extinguisher Two bonnet latching mechs (the standard double latch is ok, but for older cars with the single latch no good you need a second with a tie down strap) Blue battery triangle 150mm x 150mm x 150mm (get yourself some blue contact from the news agency and cut one up!) 18. $80 make a coffee table out of it dude.
  19. that's just the last session of the day a few cars did not make it to the end, (eg me) plus cars like the chasers evo had more than one driver but only one drove in the last session that said yeah not the largest turn out.
  20. re the results that was for the last session. Unfort a few of us had issues during the day so didn't make it to the end. (mechanical issues not track based issues) so add another 5-6 cars in there. So a disclaimer for my commentary... in my current seat I have around 1 cm clearance between my helmet and the roof. SO small bumps become very big ones quickly for me. (just ask my physio) plus I was in a crap mood as My car started back firing. anyhow after this one I have finally cracked the big one and the new seat will def be in for Nats.
  21. Ah no S14 love!!! John PM me your address and I'll get your SD card back out to you. ordering my new gopro today. USA trip delayed so will pick up a Conture when I head back.

    Stolen Plates

easy call vicroads and ask if they are stolen! you will need the original owner to sign papers to transfer. alternatively agree to meet him at vic roads to complete the transfer and payment on paperwork completed. M
  23. haha yeah we saw that one, very nice.. add to that the Norton 360 sign behind..might ahve to hit up symantec for some money with that
  24. Matter of interest did any-one get a copy fo the free program/magazine thing? Is it worth chasing them up for it? ie much info on the track battle side of things? M
  25. That's not bad, maybe with a bigger swept area and lighter car they are holding out better. I did Calder earlier this year and killed a set of rears in one day. Not disagreeing they work,(and great value for money) but I would be going something a little more "track" as it is mainly used for that purpose.
