HAHA full insurance for the ring...oh you were serious,,, even the suzuki swift I hired had a 5000 euro excess on the insurance. From same place the 911 gt3 has 50,000 euro excess.. ok not quite full replacement cost, but still more that I would want to pay.

I don't think the ring is the be all and end all, but still was fun (plus overtaking a 911 in a swift was cool) but I have had better roads many other places, my fav was chasing a little lotus on the back roads heading to Goodwood in the UK. but on the ring or autobahn next to impossible to really open a car up fully just far far too much traffic.....so just hit a track/airport/salt pan and do it there.. (salt pan is still on my bucket list)

Nah they don;t want to be beaten. I jsut cannot see how they are aiming for 45 entries and charging 140$ Considering we do 50 entries and charge 80ish. some-one seems to be making a profit out of this.

My S14 normally gets started once a month, (track days)And never had a problem that's with alarm armed and battery in car, has smallest car battery I could find as well. My ford gets started maybe every 3 months or so it has battery disconnected, reconnect and starts first time. not left my Ute more than 3 weeks between starts but no problems charge. So I would guess you have something draining your battery. Do you have amps? back when I ran cars with stereo's the amps would slowly kill batteries even when the car powered off. (they did have triggers to the head unit) but they have power connected straight from battery and would put some drain on it. just a thought

for a safety factor I doubt you will be able to do track days with shaved door handles... how can they get you out if there is an accident? re insurance, getting it will be easy, however as the car is illegal if you get in an accident they can refuse to pay out. M

Ryan great work getting these out quickly. and excellent job for those in teh top 3. I'm stocked with my times, considering the drive back nearly made me seasick...sway left sway right, something screwed in the rear and the car def not handling right looking forward to November and I'll give it a good blast. all things considered this was I think the best run deca I've been to so thanks again to the organizers. oh and rumor has it we get some abandoned aircraft and 30 foot jumps for the next one al la ken block style...(or maybe that was just my imagination after a fishbowl)
