  1. Guy i bought my S14 off had just bought a Gti and was an accountant. so I'm going to go with yes. these and the new Audi/MB with the fake back fire are my current list of annoying cars.
  2. or another way to put it the 2 year old car that was sold in the past week getting delivered to it's new owner v the stereotypical broken GTR..... http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:qfl3joo8FN4J:www.carsguide.com.au/cars-for-sale/D_5036687/VOLKSWAGEN--GOLF--VIC%2B-%2BMelbourne--SOUTHBANK%2B3006,%2BVIC--Hatchback+&cd=6&hl=en&ct=clnk http://www.carsguide.com.au/cars-for-sale/D_5036687/VOLKSWAGEN--GOLF--VIC+-+Melbourne--SOUTHBANK+3006,+VIC--Hatchback god I love the internet....
  3. says the guy who has had the gtr in the shop for how long?
  4. as soon as my shed built
  5. well mine looks like below currently so prob not me..
  6. so the other big diffrence is if RAM looses power it is wiped, SSD/HDD natrually do not. So to get the speeds of RAM for storage you would need power at all times eg a battery back-up for the drive. battery goes flat all storage is lost.
  7. just make sure your battery never goes flat....
  8. same as a Hyundai and a Ferrari are both cars...one is just a bit faster than the other. Stats a couple years old but shoud be similar: Read 1 MB sequentially from RAM 250,000 ns Read 1 MB sequentially from SSD 1,000,000 ns Read 1 MB sequentially from disk 20,000,000 ns so 4x slower.
  9. that would be way too slow. not that hard to get 64G or ram in a machine these days. https://www.dlbgadget.com/64gb-ram-laptop.html

  15. Walbro? had similar problem, and that what lunched my motor. Fuel starvation coming onto Main straight at calder and leaded out massively which melted piston cannot run with under 1/4 tank. Eyeing off the TAARK surge tank currently for safety http://www.taarks.com/Fuel_Surge_Tank_v2_p/taarks-fst-2walbro.htm

  24. When we first started up eSign the original company I worked for in AU before we got bought out a bunch of times.. we needed a bunch of Sun gear, as we were a new company we didn't have credit terms with them so had to pre pay. as it was a time sensitive thing, the CEO had the receptionist use her work Amex to pay for them. as a small benefit we got(and still do) to keep the points on the cards to use ourselves, 250,000 points in one day. damn.
  25. the twin throttle body VN 5L Group a was the highlight of the 308. pity the car it in. but yes VN inclusive was down hill for Holden, if nothing else those sunken rear wheels.
