January special we can do them $1800 with falken tyres, or $1900 with Toyo tyres, fitted or delivered.

Yea stock is 225/45/17, however i've seen some local yards comply there cars with whatever came on the car, ie compliance tyre placards showing 215/45/17 as stock size...

Most 34 GTR's you will find run 265/35/18, a 275/35/18 would be a better match, but these tyres are not as common as the 265's. We have all the sizes mentioned above, brands like toyo, dunlop, yoko..., however i recommend the 275, especially seeing you want a bit of cover for your wheels. I've sent you a pm on the prices,brands and sizes in 265 and 275 which im sure you will find impossible to beat.

Yea guess i should have been more careful, mind you there was another car on the inside lane and we had a subaru outback with us driving infront, both were going faster than i was. at least he didn't tell me to pop the bonnet...

Yea i got pulled over in my 34 on the way to canberra this week by a hwy and the first thing they do is tell you everything you say or do is being recorded. Was caught doing 122 when i should only be doing 100, copped it fair and square, mind you they were waiting right on the bottom of the big dip on hume hwy, saw the same cop with some others on the way back doing radar, gave em the thumbs up doing 98km/h on the way back, the looks on their faces...priceless

Yea one of the disadvantages of driving a skyline, just a suggestion if you ever get pulled up or anything like that make sure you record it on your phone or something, some times cops are just plain unfair and from experience recorded evidence can get you out of alot of trouble.

Hey things happen, same thing happened to me, i was in my car no stopping in city 'hungry mile' trying to get a dvd to play my car is still running as well, another vl parked close, parked and standing outside his car, cop pulls up, tells the vl to get out of here, comes to my skyline, gets his book out and starts writing so i just drive off, fine comes in the mail... Oh and cops can give out tickets at unattended cars which are illegally parked. just curious, why didn't you confront the cop when you saw him?

a bit low, 36-40 just remember these are cold pressures. ie dont check your tyres after a long drive and wonder why the pressure is so high and then deflate them! you'd be amazed how often people forget this little fact.

just an update, i got round to sorting out my car today, did a compression test(all good), went to change the plugs but nobody suppplies them here, they're NGK r7119-8, might have to get diff ones as these are pretty expensive and hard to find. so bolted the old ones back in, (before i did i carefully cleaned/sanded the ends down as they were pretty dirty and built up), had new splitfire coils but decided i would put them in when i change the plugs, so all i ended up doing really was cleaning the plugs, Problem gone! no more hesitation that i can notice and also my missfire at 3500-redline is totally gone! for now anyways
