  1. just make up a bracket and screw it into the surround, then stick the AVCR onto that I did the same thing with my blitz boost controller and power meter, made the bracket out of some plastic/pvc(I actually cut and used a side of my old hi-fi system, was strong enough and had a nice colour to it ),cut, bent and shaped it to get the right spacing and screw position. then some doublesided tabe to secure the 2 items onto it, looks perfect imo, noone knows its a backyard job if u like i can take a pic to show how i did it, let me know
  2. Yea kumho/Nexen are a great tyre for the cheaper price range, much better than any nankang/wanli/linglong or other chinese tyres that are being dumped on the market these days. in reply to imtorqing. The dunlop OEM sp3000 are nice tyres, not the best, better than any of the lower end brands. Should cost well below $1000 a set, i can do these even cheaper than the $370 for the pair of kumhos you got quoted, (which does not sound right?) end of the day make sure you get tyres that will match your needs(and budget).
  3. Sorry mate dont have the kumho semi's, but u got pm on some other semi slicks, and the dunlops
  4. mate, are buying roadstone tyres, or shares in the business? haha that price is a rought! u got pm
  5. Yea ive seen this same car twice now this week on the way to UTS, im sure he woulda noticed me too. haha wat u studyin mate!
  6. more in stock specials added! You've got no excuse for bald or shitty tyres now!
  7. it depends whos checking it, a normal copper you SHOULD be ok, but if its at the pits, they take a photo and it is assessed by rta/epa if its legal or not. Even if the a/market or custom box is enclosed, unless its engineered its still illegal, as it does affect emissions, just depends how much the cop wants to bend you over on the night! search up, i remember i had this drama before and there was some good info from users. and yeah pretty sure my engineers has writen my boost controller and so on do not sit higher than the dash or obstruct my vision.
  8. +1 for heasmans, we know the guys there and any huge jobs customers have we send them there, thats where we do our personal suspension/coilover work as well. If you already have your settings by the time you come by ours for tyres, our mechanic can set the car to your desired settings, pm me with what you've got and we can discuss it. Ali
  9. Haha thanks mate! Im guessing you've got the clean grey 34 with SAU stickers i always see there? wat u studying? I once tried parking in that majestys car park, couldnt make it up the driveway, and i cringe when i walk past that outdoor carpark on quay st with the floor that looks like a minefield! Haymarket all the way. ive always wondered has anyone tried parking in the building under uts b6 for staff on harris st, near the abc? very tempting...
  10. sorry bud, you can check out all our prices online on our website, most packages go for 17" 1200, 18" 1500, 19" 2200. Please note that tyres depend on your car, so if you want something bigger for the rear it may be extra.
  11. Right now we dont have matching staggered sets. ie i have grey for the fronts, and black and bronze for the rears... eta is 3-4 weeks for more. Will most likely be roughly couple months off, i will check what they cost from the states direct for you though.
  12. have you tried following the wires to see what they connect to, that ticking's prob a relay. maybe its for hicas or something??
  13. Thanks Robert, I think theres already anotehr thread on evo brakes on a r32 GTR, have yous seen that? thanks Johnny, i have the rotors as well, so i am going to see how it would go using both the evo rotors and brembo calipers.
  14. BS potenza re750, these are now on special $150 You dont have to stick to that, but i wouldnt recommend a 245/45 all round on a GTST. you could go 235/45 and 255/40 which is pretty popular on these cars, or stick to the 245 on the rears... have a look at what other users are trying out, as every person will have their own preferences, some like them big at the rear, some like them same size all round... good tyres go for roughly 170 per corner, thats top japanese brands, but do some research into what suits you best and i can give you a more accurate price.
  15. Hey guys, getting my hands on a full set of evo 7 brembo brakes. includes rotors, calipers, the whole lot. They are to go on an r34 gtt which still has all original braking parts, so i want to know if its merely a matter of getting some adapters made up, or more complicated? Havent tried anything yet so if anyone has had experience with this or similar then any help is appreciated! Thanks Ali
  16. if you know how to change your brakes then you should be able to di it, pretty much both as dangerous as each other so unless you have no idea what your doing, get a spring compressor and it should be right.
