  1. ordered it off ebay on friday, got it on wednesday, pretty good
  2. ohh ok i follow now, im thicker than normal today Thanks for all your help.
  3. thanks so far, but another annoying question, what do you mean, have the factory cold air intake sitting on top of my pod? Do you just mean have the factory cold air intake, inside of the partition, facing the pods general direction? Thanks for your help, so far
  4. http://img456.imageshack.us/img456/9962/r32carsm2ph.jpg So lets say i had it hooked up like that, coming off the turbo, i would then make a heat shield (out of aluminium) going diagonally from the [wheek arch] to the side of the pod filter to block off rising heat from the engine, and leave the back and front of the pod open, with my standard cold air intake in the same position right? or wrong
  5. yeh, im sort of in same boat as ross80. I thought getting 320 k's of a full tank was pretty standard but people saying otherwise so. Was just wondering where abouts the O2 sensor was exactly. I heard you can test it with a multimeter, but i have no idea where to find it. Its in a rb20det 1989 gts-t type M thx
  6. Heyaz Any way a while ago i bought a pod filter and a adapter for my r32 gts-t type M and have just been looking for the time to make up a cold air intake box for it. But i have been reading and it seems that quite a few people running reasonably stock gear, havent bothered with the air intake box (although a couple of the people are running new turboes, injectors etc.) They just have the pod in the engine bay. So, a pod sucking in warm air, sucks enough in to make it better than the standard panel filter, sucking in cold air? I would prefer not to go to the trouble of making up the intake box for my pod, but i will if its worthwhile (cant afford to buy 1) If any one wants that re-worded just ask, im not so smart Also is it worth putting some custom or aftermarket exhaust headers on it? It has a 3 inch turbo back exhaust, but standard exhaust headers. Am i likely to get less lag or faster spool or moor KW out of em? Thanks, sorry about the annoying questions but i have looked around and cant really find specific answers to my questions.
  7. One of the sensors for the hicas is to do with the steering wheel J-Boy, some aftermarket steering wheel mounting kits dont have the hicas connection. But i dont think it would matter if youve had the hicas removed. have a search and find one of the pages about running one of the diagnostics. i think theres a guide on one of the last pages, Can be any number of things.. But at least you dont lose power steering when your fuel tank is full, like me Edit: Found one Maybe some one should sticky some of the hicas stuff. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=77405&hl=hicas Is the topic that the link below is given in. http://gtr.ferni.net/misc/skylinebook.pdf#...0specifications Good luck getting the right left right left, diagnostic mode activation going, i couldnt hehe
  8. Its very damn annoying though, that means i got ripped off. I was slightly suspicious because the k's were so low but, well the engine is real nice, it had the original belt on it and plugs had never been touched so, oh well. Engine nice, interior nice, paint on the outside is a bit of a cheap coat, and although it looks good, up close you can tell it was done cheap... Main pull was the 50k's and the engine.. most of the other ones i looked at had crud engines... $13000 i paid for the 32 gts-t type M, and i suppose i did get ripped off. Sucks that doosh bags do this. Im a 19 year old with a 13000 bank loan to pay off and now know that all along that i could have spent 11000 and got one that has been in australia for a while, with probably the same k's... argh...
  9. We'll my gts-t type-M is canary yellow, that turns heads (and possibly stomaches) I thought it was too rice at first, now i like it, suits the curves of the car, had to be subtle with the rims though or itd end up ricey. oh and, nice rims, n1gtr they look great on the car.
  10. Hiya, i purchased a gts-t type M for $13000, newly resprayed with 56000k's on the clock. The engine is absolutely 100% mickey, and the interior is very good, expecially for a 16 year old car. But im wondering if its possible that they wound back the amount of kilometers the car has done? It was just imported from japan and didnt have side intrusion bars or anything. Im not really suspicious of my car having been wound back but alot of the other 32 i looked at from import yards looked quite suss. so... Can it be done easily enough to tempt car dealers to do it? NO DIY's please.
  11. ahh i gave up on emailing him, he didnt seem to reply, odd. I just went and bought 1 from ebay, havent heard back from him, but at least i know he'll have to reply this time
  12. ah, i emailed him couple of days back, waiting on reply and such, is he still doing them $33 delivered, i been following this topic for quite a while.
