There is nothing worse than the phone call..... "we replaced this bit, but while we were there we saw this and this and this and this......" I can only sympathise mate, ive been in a position where sh!t kept going wrong and its no bloody fun at all, the only thing that kept me going was my 1986 falcon that i took bush to do some jumps! Karma is a killer i hope that guy gets what he deserves.

ok i have a bit further info, I drove the same way home and the oil pressure guage was showing at the 2 mark, and at idle was showing just under. I did notice a little lack of response but i didnt push the car too hard either, i checked the oil when i got home and it is perfect gold colour and there is plenty in there. The only thing that may have done this was the night before i took off the oil filler cap while the car was running which made the engine shudder a bit, but i was quick to put it back on realising that id upset the pressure.... Would that have done it? There is no death knock rattle or anything else?
-
Ive got everything crossed, i am hoping that it is the guage, as the engine didnt sound, act or feel any different. Heres to hoping! Thanks mate Any other ideas???
-
Ok, Just this morning i noticed that my oil pressure guage was sitting a little lower than normal, i didnt think much of it but after my usual commute to work i stopped to grab a drink, when i started up again the oil pressure guage said there was F**k-all pressure.... Im not too certain as to what this means but im sure as hell hoping that i dont have a rooted bottom end.. Any help appreciated, Thanks all

I have a few coppers that come into my work as "customers", and they asked me what i had done to my silvia, and i replied, Its a skyline mate, the copper said, "where's the round red taillights???? and yours has four doors? i thought everything jap was a slivia???" Nuff said. 4 door sleeper.......... *** just as a interesting foot note, he was asking as i had my number plate on the front left of my car which he thought was illegal, when he checked the rules and regs, it clearly states..... "All frontward facing number plates must be in clear view and in an upright position" it is frontward facing and upright and everyone can see it including speed cameras*** He even sent me the part of the RTA which it states just that.

For those who were all saying yes it will fit and no it wont i decided ill put this age old question the rest. YES, a 2 door exhasut fits the 4 door. no mods, no extension, no nothing, it fits. I just had a full stainless system from X-FORCE put on my 4 door and it fits a treat. Hope this helps someone out. Cheers all. P.S if this has already been covered, i apologise.

Hey mate, Im interested, Can you post up a pic or two? Thanks -
problem solved, took it to a workshop, they put it on the hoist, and it is the diff itself. very tired...... time for a new one. They stuck in some thicker oil, and it has shut it up for now. thanks.

Ok, Done the search and nothing came up that has my symptons. Sympton 1, Idle, clutch in, straight into first gear, rear end goes THUD. Sympton 2, Take off in first, change to second at 3500 revs, rear end goes THUD. Sympton 3, Third gear 60 km/ph, accel on, then off, rear end goes THUD. Seems to be getting worse, and im starting to get worried as no matter how careful you are with the clutch, the thud is still there. Ive had a thought that maybe its the diff cradle bushes? possibly the diff, or the suspension linkages.... Can anyone shed some light on this noise??? Cheers guys.

Best Cameo ever award, TSUCHIYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wehn Vin did turn up in the moive, the crowd i was with let out a long groan, uhhhhhh........... You could hear who the real car enthusiast's were though, because when that S15 hit the pole sideways, some laughed and others nearly threw up..... it was an ok flick.
